The why it was added is more important than the when.
Just because it wasn’t added until 3.3 doesn’t negate the fact that when it was added it became easier to find groups for all levels of content.

From what I can see, you’re not raging. Just firm in your stance. Others are name calling and getting toxic.
Your thread is all about how Blizz isn’t gaslighting us, we are gaslighting everyone else. You don’t get to act like you’re being civil.
The “when” is very important to support your argument:
By 3.3 the first time around, people were already maxed level and playing end game content.
You’re trying to say it’s needed to get to 70, and it’s not.
And considering one of the biggest reasons people say they choose Classic over Retail is because “the leveling experience is better”, then it shouldn’t matter if you can warp in and out of dungeons because the journey is supposed to be more important, correct?
No, this is a bunch of petulant children complaining about how “Retail sucks” while secretly wanting everything that Retail has for QOL.
It’s gross, and you should be ashamed of yourselves. Grow up.
Right because the journey is so fun when you’re playing alone and can’t get a group to run a dungeon for quests and gear because Blizzard removed the one feature introduced in the expansion your playing that made easier to get connected to other players during the leveling process in a game that is top heavy.
Instead of actually making the leveling process easier and more accessible they’re removing features and using buzzwords to make the boosts they’re selling seem like the better option.
Either you are lying or you are the weirdest wow player I have ever seen. Almost nobody actually cares that much about dungeons beyond their general use for leveling and gearing. There is a reason that 99% of the community drops doing dungeons as soon as they no longer need the gear or rep.
RDF is a big convenience tool but people on the forums are making it sound like dungeons are some super popular end game content that everyone is craving. Even more amusing is the fact that this is coming after all the intense bashing that WotLK dungeons have been getting recently for being faceroll messes.
imagine making a thread gaslighting the people here by saying blizz isn’t gaslighting us. Lmao you are a clown, delete your account asap OP
You have no idea what WotLK dungeon running was then
Farming Hodir rep while in q? Talking to friends about life (who can be playing other games), nothing is better.
I 100% made this toon in classic (after leveling my warrior tank) with the express reason to tank in WotLK
They aren’t. Blizzard has access to the data, we do not.
grass patch is other there buddy
Ad homs do not help convince anyone of your points.

If this is true then where did blizzard get their “numbers”???
If the vocal majority are all saying No, then where did they see the need to remove LFD?
Where did they get their data from if not on these forums?
you can’t understand why every poll you look at is overwhelming for LFD, so you gaslight yourself into believing there must be something wrong with everyone else.
I’ve been here for most of WoW’s lifespan, I take breaks here and there like plenty of people. I’ve seen people that make threats about quitting over all sorts of things. I’ve been annoyed by changes made that me decide to take breaks, like P1 of TBC classic with the PvP gearing nonsense. I’ve come back later when changes came, like P2 with the reduced honor costs, same faction PvP, and increased honor/mark gains. Removing LFD and talks of altering Dual Talent Specialization actually make me want to unsub and just never look back.
I hoped for some of these modern QoL features in vanilla and tbc classic, and argued for them, but I kept going. I just struggled through it all, and took all the “Wait until WotLK” comments and shoved the feels down. Now we get “The majority doesn’t want LFD.” Stated as if it’s fact, with no evidence presented. They know people want these things, that’s why they talked about their LFG tool that hardly anyone uses. It’s why they talked about implementing something like LFD in TBC classic before it launched.
Will be nice when people just stop throwing this buzzword around.
There’s been nothing but backlash since the announcement.
If there’s ever a time for transparency, it’s moments like these.
They say the majority doesn’t want LFD, prove it.
I totally agree. I remember when the LFD tool was released. Was awesome. Iirc was even cross server. For those stating they don’t want it…if they were to put it in don’t use it. But for those of us that play at off hours due to whatever reason the LFD tool would be a godsend.
Outside of the topic of LFD. One thing I do believe a lot of people that browse the forums, or other similar places like Reddit, seem to miss is that the vast majority of players do not post or read them.
Also most people that are happy with the removable of LFD are not going to go out of their way to post about it, they are getting what they wanted. This goes with any other topic that pops up from time to time. The changes to AV in Classic, Boost, short TBC prepatch, ect.
More less seeing the amount of post on the forums about this I believe is not an accurate representation of how the community really feels about this. How does Blizzard get this kind of information? Honestly I have no idea. I’m know they do send out polls from time to time. I have received them before. But I would hope that they have other means to collect data, but who knows.
Wooooo I can still spam LFG with dungeon boosting! Thanks Blizzard.
Great job!
