There is no gaslighting about LFD

Seriously. The people upset or the people that are really passionate about some are always the ones to speak up. Just because people havent said thank you for no LFD and just because people have said bad move blizzard doesnt mean you have an accurate assessment of the majority here or the real numbers.

I understand the anger over the decision. I do. I get both sides, tbh. But to say that they are gaslighting you - ie going out of their way to outrage who you say the actual majority is - is not being very fair. It doesnt make much sense for them to do that. I think they legit believe the majority is against LFD.

THEY MAY BE WRONG. But they’re not gaslighting you. And God knows im not a defender of Activision Blizzard. This gaslighting biz just doesnt make sense.

EDIT: If anyone is gaslighting, its the people threatening to drop subs. Or the ones dropping subs until Wrath comes out.

Most on forums just consist of angry or upset players. The vast majority are just enjoying themselves playing the game and chilling with buds in discord.

It’s gaslighting because their reasoning isn’t really why they’re doing it.

… I think we need a source on this.

Do you have access to some internal memos we haven’t seen?

When you send surveys only to people who are happy to pay to spam lfg you are going to get a skewed response.
I would love to see how many subs lasted less than a week this month.

The number of people saying “Don’t give us LFD” beforehand was a pretty good indication though, and they were just a small group, compared to the current set opposed to its loss. Everyone just didn’t fight hard against their nonsense beforehand because no-one thought Blizzard would be foolish enough to listen.

How can you prove that anymore than you can actually prove you’re the majority.

I understand the anger. But the childish rage coming from all the angry people is kinda cringe.

Sure, this may be the case. But we’re still only guestimating at this point.

I dont think that is a set in stone as you think it is.

Right, but the “Demands before” and the “Objections after” are vastly different in size. Which is a clear indication of where the ‘majority’ leans.

how can you prove that the people who didn’t want it are the majority? easy to say, hard to prove, advocating against the large outrage from many social platforms, Twitch/reddit/forums/ingame kinda shows a perspective, take 5 minutes and see how many people don’t want it, and how many people do. You find the answer very quickly.

before you say “sources” we have only what blizzard puts out, after that its literally up to us to look all over elsewhere since blizzard wont do their part and actually get a read on it themselves.

I agree with that. Is that all they send to? Can we prove it?

Or are we all just blazing hot mad because we have a hunch and Blizz didnt listen to us.

For the record, I would have been ok with LFD. But all this rage in the forums today is so pathetic and cringe.

I made this toon to tank in WotLK because of the RDF
I leveled a paladin in classic for WotLK RDF
I only resubbed to prep for WotLK to tank RDF
I’m beyond rage, I’m done

It’s really kind of obvious.

They artificially made it more difficult to get from 1-70 naturally by removing a tool that streamlined the process of getting into a group with players to run dungeons in an attempt to make the boost they’re selling more appealing all under the guise of “it’s for the community”

They didn’t add this until patch 3.3, so that’s false.
