I’m all for solo queue, but it would take away from team ranked participation and probably kill premade rbgs.

We already have solo ques, an absolutely awful version that has 10+ minute ques: skirmish. Just make skirms rated, problem solved. Please blizz.

solo queue pvp doesnt work for this game. for one, wow is an mmo rpg, so end game progression should always revolve around networking, socializing, and making groups. that’s how it is for pve. so solo queue rated couldnt really have an enticing reward structure.
also, wow pvp is very comp dependent. either solo queue randomizes comp, which would basically turn into a luck of the draw, or it takes hours for queues.

Those arguing in favor of this just want to accept all of the downsides to matchmaking, knowing that it becomes baked into the rating anyway. Just changes the meta to revolve around all comer classes / healers and grinding wins like heartstone ranked where you win some and lose some to luck of the draw.
SoloQ would be fine as long as it wasn’t it’s own separate bracket, otherwise it’s going to just kill the premade brackets.

I agree MMOs should be all about harmony. Maybe tell each other a tale or two or serenade your friends while you sit by the camp fire.
Idk that it would kill it, but i do think it would basically cut all of the low end players out of the premade bracket and make it even more difficult to play in.

I think there would be a lot less complaining here if solo que was made available. Hmm. I’m not sure how I myself feel about it.
idk, the amount of complaining here is pretty astonishing. Theres probably some unforeseen consequence of soloQ that will become the next big complaint. Plus we’ll have the reee threads over losing 10 games in a row to bad solo Q partners.

I would like a solo queue option but what do you do about specs that are basically useless without a healer? I wouldn’t want to queue up for solo queue as a Warrior and basically only be able to win if I get lucky and get put into a 3s game with a healer.

Dude, you are actually slow. You really think solo que would only appeal to low end players? You are completely wrong just stop saying it. Just watch the video on OP. Besides I don’t think the end gets much lower than where you are. There are alot of people who would rather play team slot machine and maybe face 1 RMP every now and then than face it every single match.
You are welcome to continue playing premade teams anyways. No one would force you into a solo bracket.
You don’t see the connection between people who play this game for a living and their support for a solo-q system? I’m pretty sure it has more to do with having stream content when friends are offline than actually thinking soloq would be good for the game.

Solo Q would be toxic, finding randoms in LFG is bad enough, but solo Q would be a whole new level of headache. People griefing and trolling, acting however they want due to no consequence since they are with random people. Terrible idea.

You get an awful comp while the other team gets an S tier comp. There’s a downfall for solo que. It would have to be melee/range/healer for closest balance imo

I’d play the heck out of it on my alt when I can’t q with friends on my main.
Sad really. I met many friends through arena who I still talk to after 10 years and I’ve even met some in real life. To bad this mindset has taken over.
I fear the pvp community has gone downhill with lfg. Solo q may be a required bandaid fix now, but the damage has already been done.not everything has to be like league of legends.
