I don’t want people to chuck rotten fruit at me since some places are getting hit hard right now, but no. It was 86 and sunny by me today and you wouldn’t even know its winter.

Well, here in Oz the weather is damp and a touch humid but slowly starting to cool down as we head towards Autumn.

Hope all you Northern Hemisphereans keep safe; we’ve seen the storm road accident reports from there and it looks nasty. Take care.

It’s going on here in Indiana.

I’m so sick of snow. It’s been nonstop.

stay warm

Lots of snow outside.

I’m inside being toasty, but looking out the window for my son to get home safe.

Which part? I’m west of Fort Wayne.

Ya it’s only -17 (feels like -25) with highs in the negative single digits all next week. Starting to warm up

Celsius by the way, Alberta Canada.

I am getting ice. I was not supposed to get ice. I prepared for snow. Snow does not bring down power lines. Ice does. I’m a bit concerned for my household.

Most of the country is iced over at the moment.

You northerners can joke but we are not built for or prepared for this kind of weather down here. It’s not going well.

Well are they in Texas rn? its pretty bad seeing as a lot of the infrastructure down there is simply not developed with cold weather in mind.

I don’t really joke over winter weather. It’s dangerous for most folks. Even when you’re prepared, you’re not. Stay safe out there folks.

Baby, it’s cold outside.

It must be a magical time to be a kid in some of those southern states rn. Its dangerous yes, but imagine being a 10 year old that has never seen serious snow and think about how they look at it all.

giggle. guess I gotta stay home then … wow player who works from home and it’s the middle of wave 2 of a major global pandemic… doing that anyway.

I do not miss snow

It’s only frozen Lakes winter here in MI: Winter as usual.

I will miss the possibility of snow at the Calgary Expo this year, in years past was at the end of April and commonly snowed, this year scheduled for end of July so likely won’t snow.

*why there is no Winterpeg expo (Winnipeg)

I live in New England. We have a saying: “If you don’t like the weather, wait a minute.”

One moment there’s sun, the next there’s rain, then hail, then sun, then a thunderstorm, then sun, then snow… all within 3 minutes of one another, and in the middle of July.

That said, it’s been off and off sun, rain, and clouds today. Pretty cold though.
