Given that OP also provided an in character solution to send all evil to the void. Responding with an in character support for the war seems to be appropriate.

The game is built upon faction conflict and removing such conflict would damage a core motivational force of the playerbase.
But that doesn’t sound nearly as fun as saying they are an undead Winter Fenic Fox who loves nothing more that freezing people into statues.

Have every npc in every xpac T-Pose from beginning to end to show how insignificant and lame story is in wow.
You portray a walking corpse. So do I. Non-human characters are dumb. So is magic since it doesn’t exist in reality. Removing all the dumb and lame aspects of a fantasy game isn’t going to leave much fantasy.
I personally enjoy fantasy as a genre. Perhaps you might want to look into a different kind of game? One with no RPG elements?

This game has not indulged in any of that for years, some would argue ever.
This is one.
what does this have anything to do with roll playing? all you have is the npc doing is posing for no reason. This is a game and we like to exsprese our selves that way. Even on forums. if the forums tos said it wasn’t allowed i would be fine with that and post normally but since it clearly not agents the rules why do you have a problem with the way we deside on how we post?

I respectfully disagree with your assessment that WoW has no RPG elements.
The ability to transmogrify your character equipment alone supports the idea of a personalized fantasy.
If Blizz released the game you’re describing. With no story, no lore, characters stand exclusively in T-pose the entire expansion, no cinematics and quests are simply command functions described as " Go to X location and left click on art asset Y 12 times" for example I don’t believe the playerbase would respond to that. I may be wrong but that’s certainly not a game I would play.
The window dressing is important.

While I agree transmogs don’t provide a narative based personal arc for your characters development. The mogs do allow for one to visually adopt the character they want to portray. Similar to how a Cosplayer will reproduce a character from fiction.
Again it’s all window dressing and I believe without those elements the game wouldn’t have as wide of an appeal. I don’t play those mobile collect 750+ champion games because collecting stuff doesn’t interest me. I can’t be the only player who plays the game for it’s quests, lore characters and a chance to act out fantasy in this fictional world.
You act like I’m somehow doing something wrong with how I enjoy the game.
