Yup. Blizzard once again showing that they donāt have a freaking clue what casual players like to do. I mean, most of the casual players I knew back in Cata/MoP spammed LFR to get sets of cool armor until they could quote every line in the instance.
They really didnāt wait long this time before completely invalidating anything below mythic raiding this time huh?

Personally if I never have to do another current tier raid (including LFR) Iām happier for it.
Raiding sucks and Iām not the only person who thinks so. I donāt think raiding should be the requirement to getting end game geared. Instead just make challenging content be the gateway. We have proof in Legion that single player content and party based content can be tightly tuned.

Weāre barely able to do Heroic. We literally just got AotC in the last possible lockout and even then we had to hold a lockout from a pug so we could āskipā Zul and Mythrax.
We would have had much more fun having a farm night in Normal and a progression night in Heroic but like I said there was no point. Gear alone is not enough to close the skill gap for everybody.
When the OP says free what he means is either the warfront or the WPVP quest.

Iām not saying the gearing/ilvl set up doesnāt seem almostly pointlessly broken in some ways, cause it kind of is way too easy to get 1/2 way decent gear, butā¦
I donāt think free means what you think it means. Free is when I log in and itās sitting there in my bags.
Not disagreeing with your ultimate point, but seriously, communicate what you actually want to say if you want to be taken seriously - itās about the ilvl tiers not being significant enough - none of it is free. We all pay money, we all do the content - if you donāt you donāt get anything.
Getting those today is still a bragging right though. I farmed that place for 3 some years and got the right handed one 5 times. Iām thinking of cutting my rogues left arm off and calling it good.
Not even close to what it was like back in tbc when black temple was current content, name one piece of gear from any piece of content this xpac that is actually something special that people are activitly chasing.
