Sooo, when am I going to get my beta invite? Have had an active sub since 05’…
Unclear.
I’ve had this Shaman since day 3 (or whichever day it was when Kargath came back online), written the de facto Resto Shaman guide in use since 2011, am creating a WoW Classic fansite [https:// classicwow.live] with a group of other people who have all gotten beta, am currently constructing a comprehensive and modular Horde and Alliance leveling guide with my partner… who has gotten beta, and did QA for Elysium with same partner where we discovered and fixed hosts of bugs and implemented the correct XP values for 30+
I’m not sure if that qualifies me for beta, however.
So do I have to start streaming the game in order to get a beta invite? Some people who haven’t played wow in years were given beta access obviously only because they stream. I’ve played since late vanilla and have never been given beta access. Feels great being a loyal wow player… Not cool Blizzard.
I feel in a way…offended really. Not a single Beta invite, since 2008 up until February of this year. This may have brought me back honestly…I guess I had to be a streamer and not a 11 year long customer.

Kaivax, could you please explain how Pokimane received an invite, if it’s a lottery and a sub is required?
I would really appreciate an explanation. 2005 account here, been subbed consistently minus maybe twelve months total in that entire time. I would really like to know whats going on here.

I still havent recieved any apology or contact from blizzard on how the blatent sexism that the CS rep displayed would be handled. As a customer, I don’t deserve that sort of abuse from a company that I pay monthly to play a game, and I also have the right to know that my issue will be resolved.
Every rep I talked to was so wrapped up in “we cant give out the beta” that my issue with finding out how someone can log in to an offline server was completely over looked. I am highly concerned, because there is only 3 things that could have happend:

Blizzard did not shut down closed beta server/ put closed beta testers into a closed and seperate stress test for PR reasons (which is decietful and something i would really hope this company was above)

closed beta streamers are being given preferential treatment vs the 100+ ppl that got the stress test invite in my guild and literally everyone who posted anything in the wow forums and reddit as well as others who were not invited to the closed beta- which ultimately is an unstable business practice and I am legit conserned about launch and how devistating this may turn out finacially for a company that I want to succeed.

- you have a really big bug in the system that legit needs fixed.
I am even MORE concerned because the second stress test proved the exact same results.
The rage and defensiveness displayed from your rep makes it REALLY hard to believe its the 3rd option.
When given the stress test invite, my duty to blizz- in order to make the game actually work correctly- was to report bugs, glitches and other things that were wrong in the game. I did exactly what was asked of me. The degrading response and attitude of the first CSrep was frankly disturbing that you would hire someone like that. The complete lack of knowledge or follow through from the second CSrep just makes me feel like blizzard as a company doesnt value its players- save the select few whom they are helping make money, at the cost of shilling changes made in game to said streamers’ fan base. From a finacial perspective it doesnt seem worth it, because no matter how many new or re-newed subs you get, eventually these same people will realize how unjust this company is being towards them and everyone will go back to playing whatever games they did before classic was even announced.

Entitled,Childish,Crybaby Stop being so sensitive and ranting on here of all places isn’t going to get you anywhere, Also of course there given preferential treatment unfortunately its hard to understand this but your 15 a month doesn’t compare to the hundreds of thousands these streamers bring the game for promoting it and you have yet to describe or say how they were blatantly sexist are you just throwing out big words to make yourself feel better or seem justified your entire argument is I DIDN’T GET MY WAY STREAMERS ARE BEING PAMPERED WAAAAAH

FYI, you don’t need a sub. My friend (Australia oceanic) just got his beta 2 days ago. No active sub. So much for testing in closed and sub needed argument…
