There always has to be a Monkey's Paw

Drakonid have been described as half-man, half-dragon. Drakonid are mortals empowered by the dragons they serve, via intentional alteration or via “unintended side effect of hanging out with dragons”. The process does not have to be willing.

Have you seen the Dracthyr dance gif? Big disagree on them looking ‘weird and awkward’

Wow, is it really true that the new race can only be evokers. and that evokers can only be the new race?

If so…blizz… come on. you are throwing away all that race change money,

Hadn’t thought to look for it, but good idea: https://www.icy-veins.com/forums/uploads/monthly_2022_04/145371757_danceanim.gif.3077e5cf754237b645ed2292bc965ba6.gif

Looks more like the Shuffle, ne? But still, cute.

I have a character that I RP as being a “secret dragon”, specifically just because it’s so cliche in roleplay circles. I was ready to THROW money at Blizzard for a race change if the dragon rumors were true.

I won’t be doing that anymore, unfortunately. I MIGHT end up making a stand-in for her purely for RP purposes that uses the “Visage” form if I can make one look enough like her, at least she is a Human currently, but she shouldn’t have the pointy ears. I, for one, am super bummed that they decided to make one new race/class that can only look like ONE new type of half-Elf looking humanoid. Really, really bummed.

I loved that fake leak I read about online a while back. New dragon race that you could pick the form of any current race with some added dragon customizations. horns/scales/things like that. And that could be almost any class.

Want to RP as a friend of ebonhorn? Go for it.
Want to look like Nozdormu? Sure!
How about a consort to alexstrasza? nice!

I was hoping dragonflight would be filled with the choose your own adventure and customize your own character to the dragonflight you like the best. Instead its…here is your limited option…

Yup! One more finger curled down on the monkey’s paw!

They made functional versions of zones and tonnes of models.
