How do you gain alchemy knowledge

so I don’t get the system for gaining alchemy knowledge.

currently I am 100/100
and i have gained a grand total of 31 knowledge points.

Now in order to gain more knowledge points I need to be able to do experimentations but my experimentations say they’re done until I can unlock further specializations down the alchemical mastery tree.

But how am I supposed to get further down the alchemical mastery tree when nothing I make gives knowledge points.

You gain knowledge from your first crafts, filling patron orders that award knowledge points, and weekly chests/dirts as well as the weekly quest for filling profession orders. There are also further bonuses to profession knowledge that are one-time for 200, 300, and 400 aquity from the artisan’s consortium, 565 Kej from the Alchemy Trainer in the city of threads (outdoor) in Azj-Kahet, and for 50 acuity from Hallowfall Arathi’s Quartermaster at rank 14.

Have you bought the items from the vendor in the profession orders building?

As you build renowned, those factions also sell items for knowledge points.

did you get the tools around the map op?

Check the patron orders every day. There will be a lot of 3-star orders offered you won’t be able to make until you spec into them or fully tool up, but amongst them will be a trickle (only a trickle) of 2-star orders which are achievable. Some of these will offer KPs as a reward.

Treasures in the world will offer 2 drops per week that each give a KP or two.

yeah you are way behind - mine has 110 KPs and I didn’t figure that out right away either.

You get KP for first crafts, for one time treasures 24 from those, 2 or 4 a week from treasures. I think there is a weekly work order also for 2-3 points. Then you have vendors the kei one and the AA one. Oops and renown points once you hit 10 or so.
