Yes you are!

Now you have to do work.

Group finder is up!

The best heros of all timeā„¢, no villainy in sight.

Ohā€¦ heā€™s in sight, alright.

And what wild-goose chase has Laselk sent Surreal off to?

Sheā€™d be furious if her present company was not so delightful.

-Laselk- hasnā€™t done anything, itā€™s something else reaching out. Thatā€™s what ya get when you donā€™t follow Necromantic Ritual Protocolā„¢

Chapter 2
World Update

Most major cities, now protected sanctuaries, have closed their gates to protect those within from the bands of scourge roaming the countryside. Due to the heavy losses suffered during the earlier months of the year, most roads are barely patrolled. This is having an impact on trade and commerce.

Food supplies in many cities are starting to be worrisome.

Scouting parties have been sent to local farms to ensure they are secured and able to keep producing for the populace. Many have not reported back yet.

One party, made up of many from various factions, were sent to an important farmstead in Silverpine Forest. Here is the report of Sentinel Faye Silvershot, of the Sunreavers:

The Sunreavers reported and held presence as requested at the Helping Hands festival. The grandiose tales of rebirth heightened the sense of morale before we were required to report to Ambermill for the main task in our charge.

We met with our comrades just beyond a farm to discuss battle plans, there was to be a quiet approach but it seems the festival excitement carried beyond into a slight noise disadvantage. When we reached the farm, on foot, it was completely decimated. The boars kept there were undead - the soil there was dark, suspiciously soft and incredibly fertile - I borrowed a handful of maggots from someone referred to as ā€œThe Mad Mageā€ . The adorable maggots are fat with happiness.

The Sunreavers chose to examine the barn whose doors were wide open and discovered a portal in which several magi including our own Guardian Dawnheart attempted to close with no initial success. After many trials our party was greeted with incredible darkness beyond the portal and what seemed to be a vision of Duskwood. It is unclear what that means at this time.

*We were forced to exit the barn through an unknown force and it appears that Lady Damnedfate left us a verbal warning boiling us down to a snack ready to be had for her enjoyment. A ritual ensued thereafter that enabled us to speak with the souls of the family massacred by Lady Damnedfateā€™s terrible entourage to ask what they remembered, who did this to them and where we would find our next cluesā€¦ the horror and blood we saw within the main house is nearly indescribable. *

*It is clear that something interesting awaits us in Duskwood. *

Necromantic what!?

Surreal is tiring of this rustic cabin sheā€™s hiding out in. I considered enchanting a broom but it doesnā€™t look like they do that here.

Hey guys!

This week weā€™ll be going toā€¦
glances around
whispers

duskwood

and if you see the ghost, remember: that undead's on our side

Again! This will be faction neutral! And Iā€™m very excited to see you guys there!

Laselkā€™s on the coolest side of all, his own. But it also so happens to be the one not actively murdering you right now, so congrats.

A note has been tacked onto Darkshireā€™s call board, bold letters and eye catching calligraphy as if trying to bring in all the attention it can:

ā€œHELP WANTED:

Cult of the Damned activity in and around Raven Hill. Seeking able-bodies heroes to investigate, if interested assemble Friday evening at Raven Hill. Compensation can be negotiated upon successfully rooting out Cult members and their machinations against Duskwood. Time is of the essence.
