I tell you hwut, I get so tired of going to “the new zone.” Sure, some of them like Undermine or Hallowfall are worth it, but the other ones are just…not. And we never go back to the old zones we like, except for things like short holiday quests.
An evergreen tavern location has so many RP possibilities.
As weird an idea of a floating, moveable city is, it added something and I think a neutral gathering point is actually needed. So, I was worried about little void (no pun intended) that not having Dalaran was going to leave. I think the Arcantina is great replacement. No, people can just loiter on their largest/specialest mount, and I’m fine with that.
I also like that there will be special quests from there. My WoW time is really more about exploring and collecting now. So this suits me.
Part of the cabal’s allure is that the cabal will frequently argue with itself, so I don’t think any cabal neighborhood need be thought of with permanence in mind.
I, of course, shall be living in the quiet Alliance neighborhoods. I like the spooky forest.
Right now, I think we’re leaning heavily toward Horde or ‘don’t care’ for the neighborhood. Unless that changes drastically in the next couple of weeks, let’s plan on Horde.
I’m looking at guild names that would reflect retired adventurers - suggestions welcome:
If it’s too on the nose, all manner of subtlety is lost. Something tells me that the cabal would not announce itself. That isn’t what cabals do.
We need something ambiguous, direct but also vague, acknowledged to have existed and yet undeserving of a second glance. Nothing controversial, exciting, or authoritative. Very tricky.
