The Wrath of the Lich King Classic Pre-Patch Goes Live August 30

Where did you find that? Sorry im requesting time off work and what to be 100% sure. Thank you so much

They cannot silence the masses or deny that the majority want RDF in Wrath where it was originally. #somechanges is okay as long as you leave the key Wrath features alone.

3 weeks of pre-patch, just like the last pre-patch going into TBC. it’s too short it doesn’t give us enough time, and I know a few want to run heroic + raids with their new dk so at least they can enjoy a little bit of fun before the invasion begins.

I was hoping for either Aug. 16th or 23rd at least then we’d have 5-6 weeks of leveling (and those that are coming back can have a 70 before Brewfest starts.

Just don’t do GDKPs?

I really don’t understand the problem. I do them occasionally to get gold, but otherwise I completely ignore them.

Will the 50% xp boost be applied to the fresh servers?

Sorry if it’s a dumb question, lol

We are starting Wrath Reforged on 3.4 so its after when it would have been in. I will be fine. I will just do less dungeons and not stress over pre-raid at all. I will not group outside my guild and if the guild can’t support me getting a dungeon then I guess it wasn’t that important after all. If I decide to level an alt I will just get to 10 as fast as possible and then sit in a city and queue for BGs to level (RDF simulator).

As you said, the key features of most of wrath didn’t have rdf until icc. You got that right.

That, too, would include RDF…

Wrath didn’t have RDF for 26 days more than it did have RDF…subs were actually higher after RDF was released and stayed that way until after Cata release…

Will the level 70 boost be available on August 30th?

Yes LDF was a Wrath feature, but that’s the whole point of WOW Classic, to keep the Vanilla experience in the game… and not to recreate exact copies of what the game were (except well, Vanilla itself)

I think it’s a hard concept for many to understand that the whole point is that if they don’t change anything, it will turn into retail. What would be the point and just not do timewalking version of every raid?

I’d rather them try something like removing LFD than doing nothing, even though I believe it should be available for leveling dungeons.

Great. This time around it wont until hopefully the end just like last time, because after that the game went downhill fast.

I don’t want the Vanilla experiance, I want the wrath experiance.

I would accept this, would you?

Also, Wrath didn’t have dual spec, badges for quests while leveling, xp in bg’s, harder raids, etc… but RDF? RDF was IN wrath for the patch they are basing everything off of. Your argument is tired and debunked many many times.

There is no such thing as the wrath experience. You’ll never experience the game as it was even if you tried, people have mastered the game completely.

There’s litterally like 50 vanilla servers with no one on them. People who want to keep the vanilla experiance coulld at any point in time get together and re-populate one of them. I started mid Wrath back in the day. I didn’t play vanilla, or TBC. I had dungeon finder, I could Queue bg’s from anywhere, etc. It was my vanilla. Your vanilla is still there, no one is choosing to play it though, which is a you problem.
