Welcome to the pro-RDF crowd!
Try telling that to Blizzard.
While Iâd accept it eventually being in with ICC without that big of a complaint, Iâd argue that we still should have it in even sooner given how quickly people blow through content these days. I am perfectly okay with it not being in on Day 1. But, by the time ICC comes out most people will be well past the comatose stage because theyâve already done just about everything they wanted to do in Wrath, and begin unsubscribing out of boredom. Might as well have RDF in before that point to give players something to do.
Sure, RDF being in a bit earlier fundamentally changes the experience. However, the experience is already fundamentally changed because of the people and the way that this game is now played. You can not rewind the clock and have the same experience as you did in OG Wrath. This has been demonstrated throughout Classic Vanilla and Classic TBC.
I character reserved on Mankrik when Vanilla Classic was coming out. Mankrik had a very healthy amount of alliance then. Died 2 months into TBC. I have all my alts on Mankrik. Kinda hard to know the server would die before anyone played a second of classic.
Clever but wrong
What are you supposed to plan for? Theyâre fresh realms, just decide on pve or pvp, a race, and a class, then go go go.
And there was NO issue with dungeons in TBC, so idk why your panties are in a wad. No RDF there and it was just fine.
Iâm tired of hearing âwell people changed so now letâs go change everythingâ. Thatâs âyou think you do but you donât.â
Is that a joke?
RDF waiting room
Weâre clearly playing different games, then.
The issue was I just didnât really do many. For most of them the time investment to find a group wasnât worth actually doing them. I found that GDKPs are a great way to get carried for badges. You just need to make a min bid a couple popular items that you know will get bid higher. Then you get lots of badges without spending any gold.
Saying dungeons are plentiful and easy to do in vanilla/TBC is a weird take imo. Very unpopular take, quite weird.
Well most of us would strongly disagree with your assessment, as noted by the likes on my first comment to the op.
Why is that comment still hidden. A couple trolls use their alts to spam flag a post that breaks no rules and the mods donât restore it?
Hey Bliz, WTF is with Thursday raid releases? Its anoying. Knock it off.
Compared to J Allenâs famous âpress a button now you have a tankâ? Sure, itâs quicker. Still not a problem. And in fact, his solution presents many provlems
Fresh Start servers are going to mean everything for this launch. All current servers are screwed up faction balance wise due to non-pvpers overloading the faction balance. So Fresh Start gives us actual PvP players time to open world pvp before it happens again due to Blizzards lack of caringâŚ
Iâll respond to your quote with another meaningful quoteâŚ
ââWhoâs tanking?ââ
âBrian. lead dev classic wow Wailing caverns party 2022.
Looks like they want them to fail as giving us 6 days to hit 70 and farm up all the drops is a bit rough even with the XP boosts.
If you want the epic sets that come with the prepatch only (reskinned T2 pally) and the haunted memento item etc you are best off staying clear of fresh by the looksâŚ
Way to make these realms a failure.
- Where are the realm names and types (OCE getting a pvp, pve, both or none at all?)
We need to know so we can plan where we are going to roll⌠- How about name reservations or are we just going to have it a free for all where a couple of players whom will never play on the realms grab their full player allotment of names while regulat users are stuck with altcodes?
sufficient time to level before prepatch events?
Please do something with fresh so people dont feel the need to rush to 70⌠you have really dropped the ball here.
Watch them delete it, would not surprise me at all sadly.
Actually the knowledge was out there, which servers would be populated heavily.
