The WoW team probably didn't even work on Plunderstorm, the spellbreak team did

Recently Activision acquired the team that made spellbreak, another BR with spells VERY similar to plunderstorm. They probably did all the work on this and didn’t “cost” us a raid tier or slow dev on other things nearly as much as you all seem to think.

Anyways the mode is fun if you actually just play it and don’t try to optimize the fun out of it by min maxing the rewards, cheers!

Putting your hand in a blender is fun too if you turn your brain off, still not going to do it.

It doesn’t matter if it’s the best BR in the history of genre. We were promised a wow patch. This is not that. It’s not like they released a new raid or dungeon and were all like “how could they, this isn’t what I wanted! I wanted player housing!”

You don’t need to play it, a transmog that will probably rotate into the trading post is not worth doing something you hate. If you don’t like it, just don’t play it. A lot of people actually like it let them have fun, I think collecting is a waste of time in wow for myself but I’m not going to call people losers for doing something that brings them joy.

Nobody is doing that. 100% of this anger is directed at blizzard

Any content that isn’t raid or combat related is a miss for me but I’m not going to say they are wasting my sub, it brings other people joy for things like the archives even if I will literally never touch it.

I dont see the point of this post , you came here saying plunder is fun ?

I’m sure those people work for free.

There’s been a blue post that basically stated multiple teams worked on this at different stages of its creation.

You haven’t read enough posts then haha, I’ve seen plenty of people insulting the intelligence and other things for people actually enjoying the mode, to be clear, I do not mean in this thread just many others.

And as stated in the first post, the core wow team probably did very little on this, it was likely directed by the spellbreak team that was merged into the company.

If you said you were gonna order a pizza, but not tell me what the toppings are, id be grateful for it, even if it wasn’t my favorite. But, if you said you were gonna order a pizza and not tell me what the toppings were, and then you gave me a Kale and Quinoa salad, I’d be very upset.
