Blizzard should just move out of California. They can increase size for a lower cost.

Two points that just jumped out at me were


  1. Talking about how guilds used to be indispensable. This is because he belonged to a guild and had access through the guild to content. But a great many players hung out and did other things in the game that didn’t involved organized group content like raiding. Most players didn’t raid in vanilla, and players who think it was universal were essentially shielded from that majority by their guilds.
  2. That bit about trolling other guilds getting world buffs. He thinks the game has lost something because players trolling other players is no longer part of the game. I know there are players who love to be able to troll other players without consequences. But most people hate being prevented from playing the game by trolling. And I think building opportunities into the game to encourage trolls to interfere with other players has been bad for the game.

I think you need to be a horde raider to make it through the first interview, probably makes it hard to get new blood in lol

Also didn’t help that they released it in a bugged state that was unbeatable unless you drastically overgeared the content, and left it that way for several weeks until the dungeon was completely forgotten and obsolete

What an absurd waste of developer time, that dungeon was beautiful and had great boss mechanics, but then almost no one even touched it

If they double the resources they put into wow, they will raise sub prices for sure.
