It also helps to realize that every idea you are for, there is an entire group against, and the devs have to weigh which one is “better for the game.”

That’s why I have a hard (impossible) time ever stating “such and such is bad/bad for the game”. I may hate it, and I may think it is awful but I don’t think so highly of myself to think my opinions are universal.

I think a lot of people share this sentiment and I think the devs have listened but struggle with implementation without Cata scale changes that ruin everything previous to it. Legion took us to various old zones in different expansions as did BfA. As much as I laughed in frustration as Magni would just poof away and leave me to hoof it back it was kind of refreshing.

Yup, I don’t blame them, it takes a lot out of a team to put together an expansion and to implement a more world-active game, they’d need to put time into that and construct expansions around that which would take a long time for little pay off.
And hahaha damn magni!.. always poofing away while I have to take the sucker’s route all the way back. 
If it has minimal copypasta systems and has a better story NOT written by fanfiction crossover wannabes and isn’t as bug filled, it’s already better than BFA
I think it’s good so far. The initial intro quests feel pretty hoaky but once you’re out of the Maw it begins to feel a lot better. I’m not sure if that’s intentional or not but it didn’t feel very engaging.

Haha, I just play it for raiding and m+ so It’s always fun to respond with that when someone talks about story
the players didn’t make corruption, azerite, ap grinds, remove pvp vendors, and on and on.
did you even read the post? that was the whole point.
Gone are the days when stories were written based on a plan of action and not fanfiction self inserts and copypasta from MoP
