If you have to/are forced to play every day, it isn’t healthy and the community will eventually resent it.
MoP had raid drops tied to these tokens you got from dailies, so you basically had to do all your dailies otherwise you miss out on more attempts at raid loot. Which, after a while, burned out so many players that I don’t think they ever did that again. Legion had something similar, but scaled way back, and a limited amount each week.
It’s partially why FF14 has such a positive community- you’re ALLOWED & ENCOURAGED to take breaks and leave once you’re fulfilled.
This is the first WoW expansion with a different mindset, casual-friendly, taken from FF14 after players WoW quit en masse due to BFA and Shadowlands having unforgiving grinds.
Imo, too many people play WoW because they value it too much as a job, quite literally not understanding that the reason why you should do anything in this game is for fun. If you aren’t having fun, there is no reason to be here at all. Play for yourself, and only yourself.
Otherwise, you’ll be unhappy.
