Were the devs really so worried about participation that they had to move some of the major weekly quests from their position out front of the main inn in the expac’s capital?
Nothing makes me enjoy an event quite like having to take two portals to get to the southern end of a vanilla zone - just so I can pick up the current basic weekly quests.

So back in cata i think, they wanted to add 4 slots to the backpack, and doing so nearly broke the game. it turns out that wow really is a lot of spaghetti code under the hood and changes to some of the oldest and deepest parts of the code have a drastic effect on the game causing tons of bugs and crashes.
this patch feels like that same lesson being learned by a new team.
Can the warlock epic mount boss be summoned in TW Dire Maul if you still have the items for it?
You are absolutely correct, Grindy, underwhelming. I’ve never canceled my account ever. And I have to “earn” my rewards for giving Blizz thousands of dollars in just subscription fees, not counting xpac upgrades, purchasing vanity items. I expected more. I got the 10yr Statue, I was so amazed how much they loved us. I’m super saddened by this all. It could have been done so much better. The trip down memory lane is great and all but to have to grind and grind just to get items you want. 
It makes me cry.

What about People who do not play on Retail? What Event is there for our 20 years of dedication (Beta March 2004) on Classic Servers or Hardcore Servers for the 20th Anniversary? ty
Been playing since the beginning of Classic. Given Blizzard god only knows how much of my money at this point. Been super financially tight the last year. So I haven’t been able to afford the expansion yet. I’ve even had to trade in all my gold for subscription time at this point, just to keep playing. That sucks, but such is life. I was excited to celebrate 20 years of playing the game. I was going through all the different events trying to experience them all. But found out that despite my 20 years playing this game. I could not participate in 2 of the major events. Which is Codex of Chromie and the BRD raid. Am I wrong believing this is a total garbage move by Blizzard? A real slap in the face after all this time? Not that we players aren’t used to getting slapped in the face by these people at this point…
