The world feels empty

I call bullsht. It might have happened once in the last 5 years but 99.999999999% of the time you go to the city to shop you don’t talk to any of the strangers that walk past you in the store.

Call it whatever you like. You asked, I replied. Whether or not you believe me makes no difference. I know who and what I am, and I’m happy with it.
Take care.

You’re expecting to see large crowds out in the open world…doing what exactly? There’s no reason to have large crowds out in the open world, its just silly to expect something like that.

If you’re not lying which is the most likely scenario you’re incredibly unusual. And people respond because people are generally courteous. Most likely when they get home that tell their companion some crazy person tried to start a conversation with me in the grocery store. If your behavior was common I’d see people chatting with strangers in every aisle and except for people shopping together I never see it.

to play devil’s advocate, it depends on the area. Latins love to waste people’s time chatting up about nonsense (Im latin myself, before the racism police jumps in) so in heavy hispanic areas you could see people randomly strike conversations with strangers as a common ocurrence.

Ladies, ladies… Calm down. No need to turn this comment section into a heated debate.

(P.S. if you’re actual ladies I’m single and available)

I see plenty of people out in the world on Pagle

Interestingly enough, that describes my area of the country quite well. Gotta say, I love it here. :slightly_smiling_face:

Seems more like a conversation to me.

I love how you masterfully dodged the second part. Well done… Well done, indeed…

Clearly, because its the US. Sadly, actual LATAM no longer has that same easy going nature regarding strangers due to the ramp up on crime due to the diaspora of inmigrants these past few years. Now, latin countries weren’t safe havens before, but the influx of a few million criminals on top of the homegrown ones have certainly made people shy from aproaching others, lest you get robbed, beaten, kidnapped or raped.

World was alive enough when I was playing. I got ganked in Zangarmarsh and would see Alliance out in Northrend sometimes. It was alive enough to where I would get worried when I saw a flying mount shadow fly over my head.

Tbh all game modes might be spread thin and there may not be that many people playing WoW at all anymore. I haven’t logged into Retail in like 2 weeks and SoD in like a month.

Don’t get it twisted- this was a thing in tbc and wotlk.

People hit max and that’s it. I’ve played since classic launch and it’s all the same. Blast to max

It’s not a cata issue. It’s a zoom to max and raid log issue.

the cope is insane when you step in tol barad theres too many that I can barely fish fathom eels, The only zone that feels empty is vashjar but it is a MASSIVE zone to begin with. You act like the world wasnt empty in Wotlk? lol

Or rdf on low levelers since AH prices can suck. Open world loot can suck. While I have some gold it does not mean I relish the idea of paying 40 gold for a level 38 armour piece.

So my levelers could be off well worn roads gathering with rdf hits. Their goal is actually not to see people in the open. that means those other people tapped that node or killed all the animals I need for skins already. As AH price on mat stacks can suck too.
