The world buffs this phase are a little rediculous for melee

Not talking about difficulty of acquiring them, or maintaining them. I’m referring to their raw power. Combining all 3, you get:

+13% crit chance.
+8% all stats.
+15 all stats.
+10% damage.
+65 spell damage.

That last one is clearly meant to be a buff exclusively for casters, but some melee like Paladins and Shamans care about it so I’ll include it. That said, numerically, these are bonkers.

I did a test comparing what its like with and without world buffs by booning them for one boss, and it cut my damage in half. The buffs account for 50% of my damage.

Ever wonder why casters seem so weak in PvE, yet so strong in PvP? Well, they aren’t weak at all, its just melee hyper scaling off the current world buffs. Melee and casters honestly do about the same damage right now if you take away all the world buffs.

We don’t really need a class rebalancing, we just need world buff rebalancing to help casters.

its not just WB though, its that you don’t typically have a line on debuffs in PvP. If you were recking/FFing/imp exposing in PvP physical dps would be exploding people. casters don’t have to worry about armor in pvp.

World buffs are the worst.

Your actually 100% right. Warrior’s can absolutely tell the difference in rage generation when we are fully world buffed and not. It’s the difference between mostly spamming heroic strike vs having to be cautious and que much more sparringly. Huge DPS hit without them.

For example, if you look at a Ahlaundoh’s most recent ST stream he got killed on dreamscythe. He quickly went from by far the top raid DPS to very middle of the pack. Even with full consumes, squawk spam, perfect raid buffs, etc. Raw damage output and rage generation drops dramatically when you take the crit, 10% damage and stat % out from WBs.

Oh yeah, back in vanilla classic it was so easy to tell WB vs not on warrior. Farming furbolgs for firewater without WBs, my warrior felt like a toddler fighting the neighbor’s pittie. In raids with WBs you are Super Saiyan 3.

Just do a flat + % total damage and healing, make it equal for everyone
