Are these hero talents perma moving forward or is this just Legion all over again? Where we get all the new talents only to give them up at the end of the expansion?
I suppose only time will tell.

For RP and Class Fantasy, I honestly would not be opposed to seeing them remove the Aesthetics on the new Hero Talents and do some work on updating the glyph system that has been forgotten about for several expansions.
I’m half tempted to simply not spend the hero point talents and just be a plain old arcane mage. No splinters, no spellfire, just a standard arcane mage. Of course that will gimp me compared to other mages so I’d be “punished” for not wanting to engage with hero talents.
That’s not to say I don’t think some of the mechanics are cool, I just don’t like feeling forced to pick between two very limited themes that don’t really feel “right” to me. And on top of that, these two limited themes often require me to have other talents I don’t like before I can get any use out of them.
