The War Within | Threads of Destiny

The Nerubians seem to be more individualistic than the other Aqir-descended races, so they may also be far less physiologically sourced from their queens.

Anub’arak also seemed to have been Azjol-Nerub’s ruler in parallel to Neferess in Azj-Kahet, so the ruler being the kingdom’s broodmother doesn’t appear to be a thing for them.

The whole race coming from a single queen seemed to be a uniquely Mantid thing among the Aqir descendants. The Aqir themselves were laying eggs all over Uldum wherever they went (including inside their dead enemies’ corpses) rather than sourcing them all from any singular place via a queen, the Silithid were similarly decentralized in that regard, and the Qiraji didn’t seem to even have their own breeding caste at all, suggesting they may have been an entirely fabricated race directly uplifted from specific Silithid by C’thun without any built-in mechanism for producing more Qiraji independently.
