Having peril on 7s isnt what CAUSED you to die. Moving it off of 7 doesn’t stop you from dying and bricking keys

Actually the more I think about it, the more I think they should have also added that “Chest every dungeon at X level, key doesn’t drop below that level” for all keys and not just +12s.

I know people get in their feelings believing someone is “failing upwards” but if you are required to do all eight dungeons at level, you have proven you can do that level. Homework seems unnecessary.

Unfortunately no but they did nerf it on PTR today.

Season 2’s only problem as I recall was some of the janky mechs in some of the dungeons (ie maggots on underrot boss 2).

Although, I dunno about cap removal, as wasn’t season 2 when they introduced the whole crest system?

uhhhhh yeah, maybe it was season 3?
I just know there was a season they ended up removing the caps on currency like super early into the season.

I just hope they keep the caps removed. I get they don’t want people spamming keys and maxing out gear immediately, but there’s also such a small portion that would actually do it. The flexibility to be able to sneeze out as much as possible when there’s time and not be artificially gated is nice. Not all of us have consistent work schedules.

Now you need to get rid of valorstones. They serve no purpose other than being a generic quest reward. I recently leveled an alt, and I have hundreds of crests and zero valorstones. Why cant I just use the crests I have?

Still having to run portal keys for vault is annoying, but thank Christ Peril is out of the way.
Imagine that’s gonna cut down a bit on the craven tail-tucking people do after one wipe at that level.

So you increased M0 difficulty by like 30-50% (which is what m+ uses as base), then slightly reduced per key level scaling, which means we will still have to deal with same overtuned mess like before, right? Nothing has changed so far… Shame…

Not to mention you MUST reduce key level for max vault reward back to +8 like intended, because +10 is way too high requirement. No one wants to do this overtuned +10 mess whole season for vault. Ppl want to have chill keys.

Key scaling itself was nerfed 3% per key level. It translates to a compounding nerf as you ascend levels. Trust, this will feel not as bad as S1. The math maths

No the eff you aren’t. Some of the changes are alright.

Key depletions being removed for +12s does NOTHING for people who struggle with lower keys. Personally, my main is in the realm of 11s and 12s, it doesn’t affect me much but there are countless guildies out there who won’t even bother running keys even in the 6-8 range because of key depletion.

Valor stones… when are you planning on making ONE currency to upgrade gear. Enough of the multiple currency BS. Seriously, I either have too many stones, cap out and waste runs or I can barely scape together enough to do an upgrade when I need it. GET RID OF VALOR STONES.

Tank and healer changes? You guys completely trashed the feeling of tank and healer roles in 5 man gameplay and expect these changes to fix the issue with tank and healer shortages? You guys have endless hours of suggestions from people like Quazii, Yoda and other people who live and breathe this game and completely ignore feedback.

Like I said, some of this addresses some of the issues but don’t tell us you’re listening when you put in minimal changes and move goal posts for people in lower tiers of the gaming pool. Not everyone wants to push over 10s and this changes nothing for them.

Stop praising Blizzard for fixing a problem THEY created. Especially praising them for throwing half assed solutions at it. They know where they jacked up, and they know how to fix it.

Valorstones purposes are weird, yea there’s sparks but even I’m capped out on them and I do nothing but delves and TW on the side

What will SCORES be like? For example pre-squish I only did up to +14’s since 1 week of all +13s and 1 week of all +14s got my KSM, then I quit.

I HATED that I had to do up to +7’s for enough score for KSM

I just wanna get KSM and dip cause M+ sucks :person_shrugging:

It will be bad, because relative numbers stay the same, if not worse due to M0 massive difficulty increase…

Having read through that article to the bottom, I see a lot of minor tweaks. The big one (in my opinion) is the change to return mythic 0 to a weekly lockout with better gear. The aim of this is to sell more round-the-world carries.

Scores are the same as S1 but key scaling got nerfed and Challenger’s Peril got moved to 12+ so a 7 in S2 will be easier than a 7 in S1.

I don’t care for gilded. I just farm my gear to max runed then stop caring
