The War Within PTR: 11.0.7 Content Update

I’d put money on sirens, specifically sirens similar to the models found in Tiragarde Sound, east of Freehold.

We’re going on an expedition… to islands… oh boy.

Huh?

I don’t RP much, but when I did I primarily played a half-elf.

This is one of those “forums don’t represent” moments.

Now, what I wanna know is where that “no more 0.7 patches” guy is.

Remix and Plunderstorm were pretty solid

I only hope there isn’t TOO many caves around the isle. I really don’t find not being able to find the entrance for a rare in time exciting stuff.

These deadlines are already set well in advance. They probably already have their release window for Midnight lined up and maybe even The Last Titan. Modern AAA game development sadly doesn’t have much flexibility with release windows anymore. They’re told when the product needs to be ready to ship, and it’s just a matter of what they’re able to finish up by those deadlines.

I’ll be playing BG3 for 10 years I assume because of this. Got my fingers crossed for TES6, but won’t be surprised if it’s a total let down.

Bruh, Im so hyped. I cant keep my hopes down after seeing that SS. It looks good blizz. Gj. I bash you guys a lot. But this looks nice already.

Good developers aren’t hard to find if you’re willing to pay competitive wages.

I disagree. The skeleton crew is composed of relatively new hires who have no access to institutional knowledge that would be found in a company that valued long-term employees rather than making a show of letting them go. The people currently working there can reinvent the wheel. But what’s already in the game will take a lot of time to figure out what broke it and how.

The blame should fall 100% on management, from marketing that had no incentive to create complete games to planning and design, who would never say “it’s a bad idea to release the game in this condition”.

Bobby hired all the people who are in charge. They are 100% carrying on his philosophy. They think they can train players to lower their expectations with each patch.

I don’t think there are enough potential new $90 mounts to cover their mistakes.

Hoping the new plunderstorm cosmetics are ugly so I don’t feel like bothering with it again.

They can’t. They saved money by not making backups. It always worked before. Surely players will get over it.

This is a BFA zone that they’re only now just finishing.

No Pandaren or Dracthyr Heritage for this x.x.7 patch? That’s a shame. I thought they’d finish them off with 11.0.7 :frowning:

I’m okay with this. There’s so much content that never made it to the live servers, I’d love to see them use more forgotten content.

Looking at you Warlords of Draenor.

Just don’t.

The lack of self control is what they feed off of.

The game producer showed her face. Thats the managment right there lol.

Though its likely people give her a pass for silly reasons.

Wow should be getting veteran designers and producers.

Theres a bunch of noobs working on the game. Thats why its bursting at the seams. They should have minimum 5-10 years of production experience to land that job.

The most valuable employees are those who have been with a company for years. They remember what happened 15 years ago and can save the company oodles of man hours trying to figure out what went wrong and where to start.

I was wondering about this too, DF had new sets in its .7. Might have to wait a while longer for news on that front.

Really glad they’re finally putting in the old Storm Crow mount and a new round of Plunderstorm.

Im not sure who is even left. Maybe some of the art team?

All I do know is that all my questions about the state of the game have been answered when a position like that is being run by a person with no experience.
