A lot of players are still not locked in yet for the new expansion. It would be a good idea not to get too sassy with the Mop hotfixes. You still have to win us over.
Whelp Blizzard rushing things again when it needs delayed. Hero talents are one of the very few MAJOR features of TWW and shaman Totemic was just fully implemented yesterday. So totemic gets zero Alpha testing and iteration? I mean it’s already bad on paper for enhancement given you’re either giving up cap stone talents or not making use of half the tree. The number of required(forced) talents is too high. Most enhancement shamans assumption was totemic looked so bad because we were getting a revamp that would make it make sense. Even stormbringer is below par, it’s boring and super uninspired, and the only reason people think it’s even okay is because they are so tired of playing elemental build for 2 full expansions.
Not much else to say except it’s some really poor management on Blizzards part. Some classes, that were already strong and already got revamps, get 4-5 iterations and shamans get nada, not even any communication. Are you trying to make people hate you? Because that’s how you do it.

When they talk veterans, do they talk people that are subbed since day 1 like me, or is it just a disguise for influencers?

Thinking when they mention vets it’s used in the sense of people who have been playing more than let’s say 3 weeks(for example).I’m feeling it more as any who have put in more time than just a few weeks.
I was in no way or form a influencer, nor a high end player and opted in since Wrath was beta. Didn’t get until Dragonflight and was in beta first round.

It´s interesting,
there was a time when I got into each Beta, even Alpha for pretty much every game of Blizzard. I did own all Blizzard games and did own my Bnet account since then.
During tests, I did write a lot of feedback, we even had discussions with the Devs back in the days, that was the most fun I think.
But since a few years, they must have removed me from their “veteran” list or something, as I don´t get in anymore at all.
At the same time, more and more people get in, that have somekind of channel for gaming, no matter the amount of followers or content.
But that is ok, who knows how reliable my test would be, I have less time for gaming now than years ago, the warband feature is what I am most interested in anyways.

Given that its kind of a defining trait of a major character right now, if it comes it’ll probably be after TWW, potentially after the whole trilogy if she stays relevant.
Hero talents are amazing for some classes and super boring for others.
A short beta ensures that hero talents as a concept does not work.

Maybe that’s how it was for you but that’s not how it was for me with last beta.
Not everyone’s experience with beta is going to be just like everyone else’s experience with it.
