California Servers are 3 hrs behind East Coast… if the servers can restart at 10 AM East Coast (without them in the office) they can surely set up the Beta to start before they take their “morning glory” in the stall after their drive with coffee to work. Just saying

Which is why I’m looking at the usual streamers who get Beta first. So I know it “started”. W/e I get it or not at the same time is another question 
If you bought the EPIC expansion you do get it. If not then you’re playing the lottery right now basically.

But when do we get it. I suckered in and bought Epic and am now “patiently” (not) waiting. I have been d/l the patches as they show up for download the past week.

If beta gets updated on the same schedule that alpha did, theres probably another 6 hours to go.

Not going to happen because they need to be in the office to deal with any issues as they happen. Also launching a beta is a lot different than restarting servers.

Yeah same here I didn’t know anything about the BETA since two days ago and now I wondering if I did something wrong with the Blizzard platform or if I missed the chance… these people in Blizzard are sadist.
Give it a few more hours, they just barely are clocking in.It will roll out sometime today.
If you bought the epic version, then you get it today as per blizzard

Was really hoping to get the beta set up before work today but it looks like it will be an after-work situation 
I know they want to under-promise and over deliver by not posting beta launch times, but if you’re like me and pre-purchased the epic version months ago… getting that info would’ve been nice.

Can we change Alleria back to normal?
Alpha got its updates around 1pm pst/ 4pm est
So if beta follows the same update schedule theres still a wait to go.

I’m hopping during the pre-patch we get some narrative reason for the change. I think it looks cool and much more Ren’dorei like - and maybe it’s a nod to barbershops being canon! - but hopefully there’s an event that causes this change.

During alpha after a weekly update the servers usually came up after an update in the afternoon. Watch the alpha test (soon to be beta test) forum - the first thing that will appear is a blue post documenting all the changes in this version to be tested. I imagine there will be a large volume of updates from the last version of alpha that was on the test server(s).
Because of the large volume of changes, they may do a small level of internal tests before release to see that people can actually log on and there aren’t some game breaking bugs in the initial part of the game. How fast that goes depends on whether there are game breaking bugs that need to be fixed.
After that the download will appear on battle.net for people with access. Sometime after that the servers will be available to log on. From past experience and the alpha, the likely log on time is some hours away yet. The d/l being available may be sooner but still probably a few hours away.
