I don’t see the point in the argues between the two “camps”. The best would be an option in the game and they might just do that. But who really knows what will happen, only blizzard does.
To be fair you could play hardcore on any server there is and play it how you want already. You don’t even need an addon for that, just delete your character when you die. Obviously people weren’t satisfied with that and here we are today.
