Chieftain Kul’gosh let out a bellowing laughter from the deep recesses of his stomach as he paraded around his clansmen showing off his most recent kill in Undermine. He had rammed into a Battlehammer Dwarf so hard with his spiked shield that the remains of the Dwarf was now stuck to his shield. Amidst the howls of laughter from the warband the Chieftain would eventually have to settle them all down with a swift shift of his expression and a gesture to remind them their surroundings are dangerous.
“The Battlehammer Dwarves will not be far behind. I have a plan.”
Kul’gosh gestured for his comrades to remain back as he snuck off to the portal.
“When you hear my howl, come rushing in. I will take a lot of damage, but with this shield Rok’hrah and Grak’kash made me, I will hold my own against our foes.”
Just as the young Chieftain suspected, several known Battlehammer Dwarves came rushing towards him as he approached the portal. They attacked hard, as if they suspected nothing more than a young leader who was caught off guard. They could have not been more wrong. Many of the Dwarves beat the Orc down to his knees and just as they lifted their weapons to his throat the Chieftain let out an ear shattering howl and looked to the Dwarves with a tusky grin plastered across his face. A single axe flew out at the Dwarves, disarming them of the weapon to the Chieftain’s throat as several healing spells pelted his wounds from afar. He threw the Dwarves back and the rest of the Darkwolves poured in, quickly smiting each and every one of them.
