Failing to resolve the seasonal affix in Dragonflight Season 1 M+ results in a 5s stun and ticking damage.
The human racial can clear the stun every 3m. The affix occurs every 75s. In situations where the affix is unresolvable due to human error or attempts to hold it for longer (30% damage buff) - it seems "Will to Survive’s) stun clear could prove invaluable.
What are your thoughts?
Not worth playing a human, imo, but I’m sure the meta chasing crowd will jump on that wagon if it proves useful enough.
There’s the possibility that Blizz nerfs it, but they’ve let smeld and stoneform ride, so maybe not.
Hm. It’s already a 3m cd. I wonder what more they could do to it?
I’m not sure that racial perks are worth thinking about until somewhere between top 0.5% and top 0.1%
I mean change the behavior of the affix so that the racial doesn’t clear the stun.
Uh, why ?
If a racial can clear necrotic stacks, why wouldn’t another racial deal with the new affix ?
It wouldn’t be the first time they made changes so that racials didn’t trivialize certain mechanics, so it’s not like it’s outside the realm of possibility. But I also said:
It would be pretty crappy to let Dwarfs Stoneform Necrotic for so long but not let humans Racial a stun.
Fair is fair.
Also the Orc racial would need a nerf if the human one gets nerfed, since it’s much stronger.
