I wouldn’t change my Discipline Priest, my Rogue or my Monk from Void Elves actually.
I’d change my Blood Elf Paladin to a Quel’dorei Paladin.
My Hunter would stay a Blood Elf.
Not sure what I’d do about my mage.

I’m keeping this Monk as a VE, i’m quite familiar to her visuals and everything, even though monks are the class that make least sense on Void Elves.
My Warlock will remain a Void Elf because probably High Elves are not going to get Warlocks.
I’m consider changing either the Hunter or the Rogue, while i pretend to make a High Elf Mage and Priest from zero, cannot miss the heritage armor! And i still have a lot of character slots on this realm.
Good luck to her or him, i heard they didn’t treat farstriders too well on Silvermoon : /
I don’t have many Void Elves but I know they’ll all go High Elf. I’ll level up a number of High Elves as well. A Priest and Monk for sure, probably a Rogue, Warrior, and Paladin. Depends on what their class options are. The more, the more I’ll level to max.
Yea I like the way my monk looks as a Void Elf so he’s not changing. The visuals work nicely I think.
Plus, like with my monk, you can just say they got in too deep with the Sha.
It’s so good. Void Elf Monks are perfect.
Jumping on my Void Elf just to say I love that mog…
also reminds me of me.
Because they guys who designed them thought they would be cool. At least that’s what was said in a post Blizzcon interview.
Mission accomplished.
If the mission was to make something cool then sure, “mission accomplished”.
If the mission was to make something to stymie the calls for High Elves… well, as you can see that mission ended in failure…
I would be glad for the blood elves to be taken down in popularity by any means and a race more aligned with horde aestetics to become prominent. That is why I am glad for Zandalari pallys. Though I fear it won’t be enough to put a dent in blood elf players.
I think the mission was to grease the gears of giving the Nightborne to the Horde, with as little time and thought as possible.
I would definitely love to make a Zandalari Paladin as well as other classes and to look forward to rolling them. I’m also glad that I’ve finished the requirements to unlock them.
If/when High Elves are added, I will definitely keep some as Void Elves such as my Rogue and Warlock for sure, and maybe even my Mage and Priest. If High Elves get Paladins I’ll keep my Warrior as a VE as well as she was my 110 for the heritage armor and it would provide a more different feel between the two.
Why are you assuming that high elves are meant to appease blood elf players? They are not.
Why are you asking the Horde players what Alliance should have?
“We don’t want to blur any faction lines. That’s why we gave the Alliance, a faction that’s already got quel’dorei as part of their culture, some void Blood Elves and then gave the Horde, which has been at war with the night elves since the moment they landed on Kalimdor some Night Elves with tattoos.”
I honestly think it’s more like “nightbourne are cool, we want them on the horde. Oh crap! We need to think of something for the alliance. Well, Jerry in the art department can’t stop going on about high elves. No wait! That would mean blood elves would feel less special. Can’t have that. I got it! We can make a race of Allerias! We can call them void elves.”
so you are saying we should believe you even though you have no evidence to show us.
I am not going to believe you. sorry not sorry.
Just want to bring this thread to the attention of posters like Drede, Vexander, Alamara, Selesnya, etc, etc.
They don’t dare to make their favorite faction elves feel less special!
This is exactly what they were going for.
“Alliance players really like the new Void Alleria. They should be thrilled playing a new elf race like her.”
