So you would rather have chaos than stable government? Interesting.
Iād rather not have power in the hands of a single person or group to do as they please and then write history as they see fit.
You mean like any single person or group run government?
If you believe that, then you know nothing about government systems.
And who are you to judge? Youāre just like me: a person online in a thread dedicated to a fictional race arguing about fictional politics.
Neither of us have a platform to stand on top of.
But hey āred elf badā will always be touted until there is actually development to those zones which were untouched since TBC
I just stated a fact: that Lorāthemar is a dictator. You are the one trying to justify fascism just because you like the supreme leader in question.
I was born under a military totalitarist regimen, BTW. It ended as I was only four years old. 33 years later, people still revere it as it as something good, despite it ruining the country and torturing people.
(Come to think of it, maybe itās one of the reasons I like high elves so much)
Iām saying itās kind of a jump in logic to claim its fascism based on one quest from the Kaelthas era.
But hey, red elf bad (casually wipes away the scumminess of specific Alliance politics)
I have a lot of issues with all racial politics. But thereās no denying that the Horde is way more authoritary than the Alliance. Plus, blood elves are one of the cases in which exiles and censure are confirmed in canon.
They are the same. They both have their merits and their flaws.
So are night elves. Who cares?
Itās a fascinating subject all around, and one that is not given enough attention in lore.
In the scope of this thread, I care because itās one of the reasons the high elves separated from the blood elves. They were dissenters that were silenced and exiled, and I like that angle, itās one of the things that make them special to me.
Im just saying: using a quest that is 10 years old in a zone that didnt receive any sort of revamp in Cata like the othersā¦should tell you that the validity of such may not be the best.
Especially since you have double-dipped the quest: between Lorāthemar is facist and the Rangers are hated. And when combined together, make actually no form of sense.
Like Ill say that during TBC, Silvermoon was virtually a police stateā¦but we dont know how things have changed since TBC because its under timelock and because its one a different realm than the rest of EK and Kalimdor.
It was still an update in which they kept it.
The could have gone with a neutral text if they wanted to change it but they decided to stick with the same theme.
The Void affecting the Sunwell was theoretical. They where exiled because they where doing the same research as Darkhan but where never told that.
When have we ever seen the state of things? There is literally no evidence to say it changed yet in Cata they could have made the robots say something different or made the ones shouting in the streets not talk about Lorāthemar at all.
Weāve seen the sunwell through QuelāDealar. Weāve seen that they are still exiling people. Weāve seen that the Void Elves do not trust silvermoon with their Knowledge.
There is literally zero evidence it ever changed. To say āBut it might not be like that!ā is the real hot air.
Drede, new DKs which came into the Alliance during WotLK now speak to King Anduin Wrynn instead of Varian.
Does that mean Anduin was King of Stormwind during WotLK?
It means they did not implement a phased version with Varian.
They changed the text but kept it as the robots saying propaganda. Thatās infinitely similar then making a one time phase.
Why would they not change it to something like āDonāt litter!ā if they did not intend to keep the same theme?
They didnt change the text outside of swapping names. Especially when the last time any of these units were touched was 2.2.0
But hey, you know there is always a convenient excuse.
Then why didnāt they?
Are you trying to argue itās difficult to replace an entire one line sentence?
Why would the keep it the same except for the names if they wanted to change the theme?
Because they didnt update the TBC zones. Its why the Draenai will always be permanently waking up from a crash until they redo them.
They swapped the names and added stuff the the dissenters in the square.
They could have kept it the same but made a point to change those things. The rest of it is time locked after all.
With your opinions!
Yea, in 2.4.0; they quest existed in 2.0.3
They could have kept the Draenai opening the same, but made a point to change a few things; but didnt.
Its time locked.
