The unlikely thing that you're unspeakably excited to do

I am unspeakably excited to do the Seal of Ascension and Onyxia Attunement Horde quest lines.

Killing pirates in Tanaris for their map fragments. It was unusually satisfying to combine them for the prize at the end, and it could be repeated indefinitely.

Doing dungeons at 60.

Winterspring Frostsaber!

I know it is a grind, but I’m a cat lover, and I need that cat in my WoW!

Logging in and playing.

Honestly. My life has changed so much. i went from working 9 hours, gaming another 6 or 7 during weekdays and 12 to 15 hours on weekends to maybe 1 per day and maybe 2 on the weekend. Kids man. hahaha.

Im still super pumped though. Im going to part of the 3 months to 60 club haha who’s with me!!!??

haha

Hang out in SW and IF with my tier 1 gear and feel like a badass!

And having to beg people to clear to Jandice.

Yup, I would get bored of questing and just grind Ogres in those 2 spots and in Burning Steppes too

  • /chicken a stupid number of times (in Westfall with a chicken targeted)

  • Escort three mechanical chickens.

Wait … I don’t even like chickens that much. WHY?

I wanted to elaborate on this. It takes a significant time to farm the rep to exalted, but there are no daily quests. You just keep going until you want to stop. There are different quests based on your reputation, and you can do the beast one on the way to kill Furbolgs. You can also start the grind at 58! If you really want a leg up on other 60s (especially when PvP finally rolls around), you can grind the rep out 58-60 and be quite a ways into the rep itself when you finally get to the max level. I don’t think the quests give experience as they are repeatable, though, so keep that in mind.

Mind Control Gnomes to make them my pets.

The thing I’m looking forward to most is engaging with people. Looking for a group, meeting cool people, actually talking in party chat, feeling that my fellow players are actually real people and not bots.

Build a Deepdive Helmet, and then be sad I can’t mog it (can’t even in retail) but simultaneously happy that drowning is a thing and it could actually be useful in the right situation, even if it’s just simple exploration or hiding. Engineering you’re so crazy! That was the first thing I really wanted to craft on my first character for god knows what reason, I even carry one on this character, it’ll be fun to do it again. A gnome wearing it looks absolutely bonkers.

Telling myself that I’m going to get all the Green Hills of Stranglethorn and Shredder Operator Manual pages on my own, only to end up caving and buying 90%+ of them on the AH.

Was this a haiku?

I have such an urge to stand on top of the bank in Orgrimmar and dance.

Can you provide a source that the winter spring frost saber doesn’t require epic riding?? Not saying it’s not true I’ve just never heard that before.

Honestly one of the most memorable memories i have from classic was dancing on the top of that bank on my shaman with a alliance rogue, not sure WHY we did that instead of murdering each other but it was fun.

Relearn what the world used to look like. I’ve never set foot on a private server. I don’t even dislike retail; I just want a new (old) world to roam in.

Also, using Aspect of the Pack to escort lowbies places because at 56+ I’m almost certainly going to be still be willing to be a taxi service

Giving out Mark of the Wild as people run by. I was always happily surprised that people would stop after they get a free buff to thank you. Was the reagent requirements removed by 1.12? I remember being happy about that update as it freed up some inventory space.
