You can fail LFR though, by leaving the raid before it’s completed you’ve effectively failed. I’ve seen groups over the years fall apart, and keep recycling in new people until it’s almost a completely new group to continue.
The bosses can wipe you. It’s alot harder you could argue sure.
but you also forget the people that are in tourist mode, are tourists, not hard-core raiders.
I have given a reason, you’re choosing to dismiss it because LFR is a side affect of the main issue. If TF did not exist, I would not care about LFR at all. Since it does exist, someone whose an “LFR Hero” (quite a rude title I don’t like using), can be potentially as geared or close to where I am or someone whose finished Normal / starting Heroic.
Tourist mode isn’t bad. Tourist mode is bad when the rewards exceed the amount of effort required to finish it.
I never claimed as such and have not even used that in my argument. I don’t care if people venture into harder content. I care when someone doing easier content, can be as geared and output as much as or close to what I can, from doing harder content. Benthic is part of this problem. That gear that’s from dailies performs better than the actual gear from hard content.
Happy you can choose what you want now from tokens. Absolutely hate that it triumphs gear from said higher difficulties.

A force of hand back to some older ways would be amazing. It won’t happen because of money but if money wasn’t a factor I’d love to see the queue removed.

its time you got out of 2006, The community will NEVER be like it was during classic or BC the sooner you realize that the better you will be. casuals are the majority now and we simply are not interested in spending hours on one boss only for everyone to quit out of frustration. I have played BC and thats pretty much how it was. spend 5-6 hours in a raid for little gain.
But, how does the team kill the boss if everyone is always AFK? I mean, I read it all the time on the forums, it has to be true.
And everytime you wipe you get a buff. Stronger and stronger to the point you can’t fail.
no you dont, what the heck are you even talking about? there is no buff unless it was added in BFA.
Apparently people who do LFR can’t even pay attention to their own buffs. There’s been a stacking 5% buff to Damage, HP, and Healing received after every boss wipe… for years.
No we have people like you and many others who would cry and cry and cry if your conveniences were removed. We’re past the point of that being a reality but it would be a much better game for the players without the queue.

I bet if you hung around in the queue it’d just fill back up with 5 stacks and you could go up to 10 stacks and not fail.

Right. So this is 100% just about gear, not about LFR.

fair enough, i never paid attention to buffs because thats a weird thing to have for a buff. its kinda dumb but eh is it really an issue if you dont even use LFR? most people use it for story and quests.
Yeah-- there is. Caps at ten stacks, I think. I’ve been in enough LFR groups that hit that cap and still wiped.
