I’d prefer Blood Dk made into the 2h dps spec and if there is a 4th fire spec it be a fire tank with Rune Slab as shield and flaming flail as weapon.

Im not claiming anything as fact and am hopeful that a 4th spec and big changes are coming to make this ORIGINAL HERO CLASS godly once more. Back to why im writing this. I think you’re getting ahead of yourself and might be setting yourself up for disappointment. It is apparent that were getting allied race DKs in a new intro zone. Its not so clear as to whether or not you might be taking too big of a leap and assuming a fourth themed sword means a fourth spec. For all you know it could just be a cosmetic option for the player since it best represents Bolvar himself. That being said, IF the stars did align and we were blessed with a fourth spec I’d much prefer a sort of “Cauterizer” healer spec that mends wounds with fire, similar to how Bolvar was kept alive through the Red Dragonflight’s flames.

Let’s be real, 4th spec for DKs is not gonna happen. Adding more specs or classes when they are having issues with balancing what’s in the game right now is stupid.
Except druids have 4 specs. Because of bearcat being awesome so they broke it into 2 halves. Which they absolutely can do with the 2hnd dw frost death knight never ending balancing act. And for that matter they could do it with every class in the game and give back all the talents,spells, and abilities that were “pruned”. A 4th spec would free up some space for all the extra goodies weve had taken from us over the years. It CAN be done and it CAN BE BALANCED AND VIABLE. Its all about time and affort invested into future expacs. Its a quality control issue. Im not expecting much but am always hopeful for the future of wow.
It can be balanced and viable. Doesn’t mean it will. Blizzard doesn’t have a stellar track record for those kind of things.
That said OP has zero proof, of a 4th spec… it’s all speculation. From what has been datamined it seems it’s a level 58 weapon so possibly just weapons new allied races get under Bolvar instead of Arthas.
JFC…yes OP has zero proof. As has been pointed out 62 of the 71 previous posts. Theres zero proof that 9.0 is even happening for all we know bfa is the end of wow!! Nobody will know anything for absolute sure until blizzcon. Even though we were told 2 handed playstyle would be returning to frost dks shortly after bfa was announced 2 blizzcons ago. And that didnt happen either and that came straight from the horses mouth. Nothing but lies and lying liars everywhere now. And they need to be exposed for the liars that they are! LIES LIES AND MORE LIES!!!
