Its really not really same, as giving a complex rotation into one button, where its actually part of the game design that people will be skipping
The art is part of game design. They are making it so people can interact with that design. Its the exact same as this.
Just admit you’re scared someones going to out dps you with a GCD penalty and wildly sub optimal rotation.

Maybe if they were ONLY implementing the 1 button rotation thing, then you might have a toe to stand on.

Blizzard can claim it is for whatever reason they want to, but the reality is that it is there to make 3rd party add-ons that do the exact same thing irrelevent. As they should.
A lot of people think they’re great. Some of them actually are. A lot of them are only competent at following orders, and their add-ons are telling them what to do.
I’m not bad at the game. I’m not good at the game. I like -some- challenging content, but other content I just find to be anxiety fuel, so I don’t engage in it.
Ultimately, play the game with or without the 1-button if you want to. We’re all just making fancy pixel shapes dance in the end.

Before the last two expansions, id have taken the side that didnt trust anything he said…currently, Im more inclined to give him benefit of doubt.
What we know is the man DIDNT create it for giggles or for high end gamers. Hes not that generous. lol.
And he certainly didnt do it to blow a few slow hours at work.
Evidence says, given the gimped GCD…its for the exact reason hes stating it is…
I mean you can… but when you say “the truth” then proceed to speak nothing but misinformation… it doesn’t matter what you think when you are claiming something is fact and do nothing but lie.
