Question: Why does she wear those toe rings?

Answer: She can’t get them off.

I mean, out of everything… I sort of like them as a reference to Narya, Nenya, and Vilya. The Three Rings given to the Elves in LOTR. They, basically, preserved beauty and prevented decay. Which would be helpful when you’re parading around in a dead girl’s skin.
