The "these changes don't bother me" club

I would go with Neurotic not Psychotic.

Good song man. 8/10. Classic bop, reminds me of Flipnote Hatena back on the DS

Was the first thing that popped into mind when I had to look up what the heck a sig male was.

You’re right. My apologies to all the psychopaths.

9.1.5 took literally a year to get here, and it’s changed based on feedback that was given in early beta.

I refuse to give them credit for taking a year to do what they should’ve had in launch. I’m sick and tired of them ignoring feedback over and over again to finally implement it in the tail end of an expansion.

We’re three expansions deep and it’s still happening over and over again. And yes, all dev time is valuable. WoD was cut in half because they simply didn’t have the resources.

I can’t believe anybody defends these guys. They’ve been crapping on your plate for years and the second one patch looks promising all is forgiven? Lmfao

I think you missed a bit of my reply…

It was, for the most part solely the WoW Dev team. While there has been allegations about worker mistreatment across the whole company, it primarily comes from the WoW team. Thus WoW is the game being changed in compensation.

The only change that has been in other games, is the renaming of McCree in Overwatch. Which is :man_shrugging:

A lot of unnecessary* things get changed because cooperation’s panic once the Law is looking at them directly. But in the end, typically changes like the ones happening to WoW will make no difference besides removal of “content” that players / consumers / customers have had for years. (Primarily talking about the emotes, could give two :poop:'s about the paintings.)

You can believe that, if you want. :slightly_smiling_face:

They could add a toggle to the Censorship under options.

Check the box to turn it on uncheck the box to turn it off.

Has nobody every heard of a switch? If they give people choices and freedoms we would not be here today.

How hard is it to put the censorships under a clickable or slid able on/off switch?

:level_slider: ← ON/OFF

This is better then straight out removal and I’d fully support a on/off switch for the censorships.

I don’t want to live in a world where things are censored instead of getting people the help they need.

People need to see a phycologist and get help for thinking everything in this world is a racist and offensive.

I’m sorry that is putting it kindly.

Intense shock therapy is what I’d recommend.

While this is true, it’s not the WoW dev team that is being named in the lawsuit, it’s Activision-Blizzard. So if the censoring of WoW is a response to make themselves look better on court, you would think they’d be cleaning up all of their properties.

I don’t disagree, but that hasn’t happened as of yet.

As I said the only change that has happened to my knowledge outside of WoW, is the announcement that McCree from Overwatch will be getting renamed at some point down the line prior to OW2.

Everything else has been WoW centric. Also how the heck, would they censor Diablo? It’s a M rated game as it is.

The drama from folks overreacting is a bit funny ngl.

They’re not touching transmogs and I’m finally getting my Incubus. I’m good at this point

Have you seen any indication that the current team could design their way out of a paper bag let alone add a switch and be able to mitigate its impacts to systems that have been in place since devs actually knew how to design?

I suppose not…Proves my point Blizzard doesn’t use logic.

OP, I absolutely agree with you. I could not care any less what the names and images were before nor what they are now. The game is still fun and I will continue to financially support the current employees in my own little way.

The only change that gave me a strong emotional reaction is when they fire another “frat boy.” Always makes me smile.
