As the Forsaken planted their flag over say Stromgarde? You know, one of the only still basically standing cities in the EK that housed an entire undead population in Legion, located in Arathi - the place the Forsaken have a whole army specialized in fighting humans in.
But Heaven Forfend the Alliance had to clash with people with just as much of a right to that city as them. Wouldn’t it have been so interesting if the Black Bride was Stromgardian and was maybe even Trollbane’s protégé once upon the time? Ish maybe he had an affair with her as a young woman that would’ve made things spicy.
But no. No. The Alliance only exist to be heroes, the Horde to be accidental villains, and the Forsaken to be villains with less pathos than the living wood chipper from Ferngully and the Last Rainforest.
