My main will be weekly raiding and doing his weekly vault no matter, this will only make gearing my main more satisfying as I will get more upgrades over time. You are still capped with crests so this isn’t adding more to do weekly.

Isn’t it just 2 additional myth level? I thought it was just as easy to get myth 4/6 that it is currently getting 4/4.

No you won’t. You will get the same amount of upgrades, only slower.

Gearing in Mythic+ has been to easy for to long, I welcome the change to be honest. Give incetive for people to do the harder mythic raiding than steam rolling some easy Mythic+ for the same gear.

That’s the whole point, upgrades are… gear upgrades that you will get slower.

I don’t mythic raid because my work schedule doesn’t allow for that kind of commmitment. All this change will do is make it take longer for me to do the content I enjoy.

Answer me this: do you think the new system will result in more people sticking around, or more people quitting out of frustration?

Mythic raiding is out of reach to many players due to, and not limited to, realm size, spec, role, current circle of friends, life schedule, etc.

More people sticking around, how many people sticked around to farm the legendary? Gear is the biggest incentive you can have in this game so yes people will do it.

This isn’t a legendary with a guarenteed drop after time though is it? This is every gear slot taking longer. You will find far less excitement from people at the prospect of having to do 3 more dungeons to upgrade their belt, compared to a legendary.

Right now if you do a +10 you get a 2/4 myth track in vault. In TWW it will be a 1/6 myth track. Meaning it just went from 45 timed runs to 98 timed runs to fill out myth track gear. With no discounts for alts this is a MASSIVE increase in grind needed. No respect for player time.

This is less rng than the legendary so I’m sure the incentive is high enough.
And this is only incentives to play more weeks, for people that want to keep playing their main this is good.

How is this an issue with the game?

In this topic, why are so many gear complaints just a variation on “I don’t have time, therefore it should be easier”?

I’m not asking for it to be easier, I’m asking for it to not be made harder than it already is for no good reason. Beyond the handful of CE guilds that might have an easier time keeping their roster together.

It’s an MMO live service game. Retention is the foremost mechanic at play ahead of virtually anything else.
