He is an orc. An NPC in one of the greatest questlines ever written in this game. Do yourself a favor and go quest through all of Hillsbrad Foothills on a Horde toon.

Runas is an NPC with a similar arc in Aszuna.

You save him from drowning at the southshore docks if I remember correctly. Then you start his quest chain.

It can be fun, if that’s the story. The “Human Chronicles” comes to mind. Human gets abducted by aliens. They find out he’s as strong as the aliens that grow up on 1g world’s and as smart as the aliens that grow up on .75g world’s. So basically humans are supermen and really smart. The series repeats but just for a lite read with no thought involved. It’s okay. But then again the series is written that way intentionally.

There’s always an exception to the rule. That actually sounds like a fun read.

For real though, if you haven’t done it, go do it. One of the most unique, involved, well-written, and hilarious questlines in the game.

Then it hits you like a train to the face.

Extremely memorable, even almost a decade after originally completing it.

It is a fun read. Thank goodness for Amazon books prime though the author is prolific. Think I’m at book 25 now lol.

They can but it’s rare nowadays for them to do a good character, but many of the ones with potential were forgotten, killed off unceremoniously or fell short of excellence as I listed. Gunther Arcanus, Saurfang the younger, Jorin Deadeye, Anveena, Dar’khan, and Admiral Taylor were some of them.
