but I do admit, the voice acting was grating. the MMM AAH IMMA DO WHAT PAVALAK COULD NOT MMMM. was like nails on a chalkboard. but I rarely heard it. wow is awesome if you turn voices off and listen to music hah.
The green drake in cata still is the worst voice acting for me lol

Uh… no and no.
The problem isn’t the style of villain… the problem is, the writing. You can create a great psychopath without monologuing. You can make a big brained behind the scenes villain and make them great. The problem is, the writing isn’t great… it’s barely mediocre at this point. The dialogue with him and the druid talking in the cinematic is rings of power levels of bad. We want a good story with a good villain… it’s been done before, Arthas? Garrosh?

What does this have to do with woke/anti-woke? Anduin whines and cries a lot. That’s a fact. I thought the cinematic made him a lot more believable despite that fact. It’s got nothing to do with wokeness.

I’m fine with it. I’d play it more but I’m dealing with an off and on headache. One of those stubborn right behind the eyeball headaches that border on a migraine.

When you get to the final phase of Lich King in ICC, he explains this, saying he kept you alive for this moment, where he could kill you and then resurrect you (and your friends) to be the greatest fighting force on the planet. I thought it was bunk at the time also, but hey at least its an explanation.

i didnt mind manduin at all. like it makes sense. only a psychopath will go thru some horribly traumatic stuff and come out the other end like hes unfazed.
IRL heroes come back with drinking problems and anger and emotional issues, and no one cares until they shoot up a recruiting center or a crowd of people. im actually glad they showed the damage that anduin went thru.
now where does it lead? to a city of bearded dwarf women?

Again, this has nothing to do with wokeness/anti-wokeness. The dude cries a lot and you’re projecting political motivation to a statement of fact, which is that Anduin is constantly whining or crying. My recommendation would be to self-reflect and determine why it is you can’t see objective statement without talking about politics.
