Oh yes, gear out a character every ten levels to pvp… only to level out of it while you’re gearing.

I have not removed anything, only added where appropriate. Again I’m not here to do anything but find solutions. But despite trying to keep things thoughtful and considerate my original post has been marked as spam. I understand why. That’s all right.
for the sake of bringing back players twinks MUST have their own separate queues back…
It’s a long thread at this point, but I want to tell you, I fully support a functional separate bracket for twinks such as me. Currently, until further notice our population either doesn’t meet Blizz’s expectations for the changeover, or it’s a bug.

The answer’s known, and has been for years: it’s all about the roflstomping. Otherwise, there’d’ve been no long queues for twinks, because they’d all be playing.

We are all playing today. It’s patch day. A patch which affected all our twinks stat makeups. Trust, we’re all on, and all confused.
We’re trying to group to play with each other, not to hunt down randoms. If you could see the sadness in my community chat over simply not being able to group with each other and against the regulars we’ve met, same as those you’ve met in your time on WoW, you might understand… that while we might cause problems for others, all we’re trying to do is just have fun with friends in the way we enjoy.
If you support the removal of twinks in BGs, that’s fine, I personally support levelers enjoying BGs. But we can both make those ends meet if we can get Blizzard to provide twinks a solution that doesn’t prevent them from playing their characters. Just right now, we don’t have any options besides leveling or not playing.

Like how twinks would farm graveyards and one shot people, preventing them from playing their characters? Ironic, isn’t it? Levelers were told to suck it up. My my my how the tables have turned.
Look, if it isn’t a bug, which we don’t know yet, then it was 100% wrong for Blizzard to stealth implement this change. However, can’t really care too much. Sorry.

I had a twink. I know exactly how twinks think – it’s not changed a bit over the years. There’s no real interest in fighting other twinks ; that’s propaganda put out to look good in public.
Pull the other one, it gives out candy.

Twinks ruin pvp and tilts the level playing ground to their favor.
It would be a smart move for Blizzard to nerf them.
If you think your so awesome and you are such a skilled pvp then why do you need to twink? PvP like the rest of us and do it without cheesing the gearing system. You afraid?

Granted, based upon the tone of your posts I’d be willing to give you the benefit of the doubt. But there are a lot of other people here that I don’t buy that from. If you’re fine with an xp off queue but it’s just not working for you, cool, I hope they address that problem. My bet though is if it’s simply not working that the entire thing is a bug anyways. Because let’s face it, Blizzard QC this expansion has been crap.

I twinked a 29 to a fairly well degree for about 12k gold. Not as much as I was expecting to pay honestly.
Odd change. Aside from power spikes at a few levels and some oddball items (why not fix those instead…), the difference between classes/specs is like several orders of magnitude bigger than twinks v levelers.
EG, my baby mut rogue has deleted a quite a few twinks while leveling, and people have assumed it’s twinked. This, despite the fact I don’t even have my heirlooms enchanted and my off-slots are crap greens (some of which are 10-20 levels overdue for an upgrade lol).

And as someone who enjoys playing devil’s advocate, I appreciate your input along with a few others. I don’t even think many of us are all that unalike.
There’s a lot of tension right now, on both sides. We’re frantically reaching out while being instantly put down. Not all of us have been twinking long enough to fully understand the dynamics between levelers and twinks. Many of us are reaching out, not searching for answers, but searching for targets for our frustration. This isn’t the way. I’ve done as much damage control as I can within my own community and within this thread; folks like Idun will never believe that there’s a large group of us not looking for blood and instead trying to find solutions so we can keep playing WoW. But that’s okay. I haven’t spent this long doing this because I was dissuaded by - ironically - toxicity.

Blizz is mad that people are doing non BFA content. It is as simple as that.

Some folks have reached out to me after speaking to GMs, potentially hinting it could be a bug. But we’re not sure yet.

talking about selfish and caring only about your “fun” when it basically isnt fun for the majority that doesnt enjoy seeing twinks ruin the tiny pvp some people do.

What exactly is twinking? I always thought it meant a max level character gearing a low level. Is that correct? What do people not like about this?

Several people in my 110 community have already contacted Blizzard regarding BGs and other apparent changes. They were told that these changes were unintentional, and to wait it out over the next few days. We’ll see.

If, tomorrow, things go back to the way they were, I will hold the same opinion I did before: that a functioning separate queue for twinks would be completely fine. Sure, some twinks would get frustrated, but I know the people I play with would be online even more.
Try to play devil’s advocate, it’s not selfish to defend your hobby. Twinks are some of the most helpful, assisting people I have ever met in this game. I’m looking at you with a straight face right now. This goes for anyone. If you want to try out twinking, there is a home for you, and there will always be friendly people willing to fund, gear, and mentor you. You just have to know where to look. We’re not all out there solo queuing for the “roflstomp”. Some of us want to build a community.
