Sadly one of my sons believes this too but he cant tell me exactly why. Though he had no problem buying them with my credit card…go figure. Don’t worry, I still feed him.:face_with_raised_eyebrow:

wow is going down the same path that destroyed many other mmos with the cash shop becoming more and more and content in game becomming cheeper and less
if your a player and care about the game and want a future in the game stop contributing to the destruction of the game

No it’s not, there is zero proof that in game stores take away from content. It’s stupid, but not damaging.

Arent those games already ftp though? I think once a game goes ftp that’s when it is really ruined. The cash shop is usually a last ditch effort to keep those games afloat.
Wow is a completely different story. Nothing in their cash shop is needed in game, its not pay to win in the slightest. Plus they are still going strong subwise despite what some people seem to think.

What about the fact that a lot of the recent mounts are just recolors, some of them even from old mounts

And its not just the Store, its how the game is currently designed, to take time.

Before BFA, we could play a new race right from the start
Before Legion, we could farm rep for hours and hours to speed up the process
Before Legion, non mythic dungeons were useful rather than obsolete

And so on.

A lot of the current stuff is time gated, why that is?, for longer subs

They are making the game to force people to play longer, rather than making the game better so people play longer

If it’s constant and crossing into spam territory, you can certainly report it as such. Outside of that, put them on ignore and go on with your day.

I really don’t understand why this is exclusive to WoW. FFXIV is a subscription game. Their shop is HUGE! They sell more mounts on there than WoW’s even made for the cash shop, yet not a peep of complaint. What makes WoW’s tiny little corner store so terrible?

Huh… about 5 days ago I was spit on, was just sitting in Zuldazar on my new dreamer mount. Pretty childish, it’s still going to be my main flying mount because it’s beautiful. F U Asmonbald, you’re just mad because you never win mount offs anymore LOL
