The /spit dilemma regarding store mounts

You forgot misogynist.

Iā€™ll not say anything negative about the streamer in question in terms of the game; the guy knows his stuff when it comes to game lore and equipment. However, and to be perfectly honest, I do not understand how he garners the amount of attention he does. The few times I do stumble across him, he is always asking for gold and items with outlandish puffery, and the multitude of people playing with him gladly turn over whatever he asks.

In regard to the post question: I never purchased a store mount. Never will. And /Spitting is for someone with little to no language skills who probably relies on emojis to get their thoughts across instead of an actual thought out response.

That saidā€¦ 'Sup A and McLamer! Canā€™t wait for you to dissect this post on your stream.

Donā€™t ever queue for a battleground, people emote you constantly in them.

You might just break down in tears.

A lot of people saying itā€™s just pixels spitting. I understand that concept, but surely this is fostering a negative environment that we really could be mature and not have happen. Im not being sensitive, and this makes our community look bad.

If you argue that it affects how you interact with the game, it really doesnā€™t. And before you attach some bs argument about store mounts giving blizz more money for a mount that could be in game for effort etc, people have been buying things forever for vanity. Your spitting will not change Blizzard adding mounts or people spending money, so please stop.

Seriously, use your ingame time more productively. If you hate casual store mount buying newbs, why donā€™t you do positive stuff ingame? Like helping people in raids and pvp content

Finally, the reason Im not naming the streamer is because we are not interested in a witchhunt. We are interested in positivity. Itā€™s the action that we need to change.

None given

I assume this ā€œcertain streamerā€ is the very streamer that has a "gold"en name, looks like a cave man and a zucchini had a love child, and all of his fans are unga-bunga cave kids.

That in itself should explain it.

To be hoenst, the x16ā€™s are rareā€¦ Iā€™ve gotten alot of x4 and x8ā€™s tho

Dude this goes far beyond what a single streamer says about the whole thing.

Blizzard themselves create micro-transactions in-game, KNOWING that there will be backlash against it not just with a single streamer, but on the forums and all of social media.

So if we want this toxicity to continue, keep them store mounts coming. over the last 5 years, the opinion on them hasnā€™t budged one bit and I donā€™t think itā€™s going anywhere.

I like what youā€™re saying, but a simulated spit on my pixel avatar bothers me not at all. If they wanna spend game time /spitting on me for my WOD raven then Iā€™ll just chuckle and move on.

Eh? How so? Unless youā€™re being satirical

Whatā€™s hysterical about this is theyā€™re allowing a streamer of all people to dictate their actions LOL. Sheeeepppplleeee.

Iā€™ve never had anybody /spit on me for using a store mount. I would laugh and simply move on because I know that they are nothing but a follower who takes advice from a streamer.

You should do the same.

I blame the few developers behind the controversial micro-transactions, not thousands of individuals who have the right to express their frustrations.

Im surprise a good amount of people still have emotes turned on. Or at least in a different window.

Too much truth for one post.

/links arms in protest

Not on my watch. This aggression shall not stand.

Imagine being so upset about some stranger buying a mount that you have to spit on them. Itā€™s stupid all around.

Whoosh. You missed the satire.

You and I are not bothered by people spitting, but thatā€™s not the case for most people. Believe me, Im in Emerald dream and the wpvp environment is very toxic sometimes and people will spit often, especially horde.

However, a lot of people who play this game have self confidence issues, mental health problems and a host of other problems that draw them to the game. Having a thick skin isnā€™t something everyone is blessed with. So we should try and be considerate, no? Thereā€™s a real human being behind that screen.

Well if itā€™s the streamer I assume it is, that doesnā€™t matter at all.

Their viewers are incapable of actual thought and tend to be apart of some of the worst interactions the game has to offer. The few Iā€™ve experienced in game required me to pull up urban dictionary to even try to understand half of what they say.

Iā€™m almost certain I could have a more coherent conversation with a goldfish.

Itā€™s a line of orange text. Ignore it and if youā€™re so inclinedā€¦ thank them. Thank them for definitively identifying themselves as self-righteous airheads that you donā€™t want to be associated with in the first place.

You are an ally my brother/sister/gender fluid being.
