They appear to be doing more than just auto shot in the logs though. I agree that the hunters can afford to hold back, the warriors and rogues are holding back so much that hunters are even with them in dps. Again, in this farming raid it doesn’t matter. But if it was progression, It would have been nice to have a mage that could actually push so they could get to Thaddius faster.
spoiler alert yet again - no one cares…
the main part of the mini boss fight is to STAY ALIVE - not go ballz out deeps, pull agro and die before Thaddius goes active
I will admit that he does give good advice when he tells people to give their beer to warriors and not raid drunk. After all warriors can drunk raid and be effective. Paladins really need someone to hold their beer so they can keep a clear head and focus on not being last in dps.

Which again, was so far from a worry it wasn’t what I was saying…
Oh, and just double checked the logs. He wasn’t conserving mana, he was judging/consecrating and exorcising.
Most of the time, I am a tank. However I have seen him finish below the tank before in raid logs.
what part of Rank 1 Exorcism and Consecration do you not understand bro?

I didn’t get all these BiS back in a day, but I was a “spelladin”. Most of my gear had +Spell and healing, not only healing. (Ex : ZG Hakkar sword). I never did full t2, but this is definitely an interesting spec to play. It’s fun, especially in PvP. People can’t kill you. I once had a 15 minutes duel with another paladin. We declared it DRAW, as we were both almost full mana and life after 15 minutes
Personally, I’ll start it Ret until level 40. Then respect Holy (heal). At 60, another respect to adjust talents (still heal). After MC is cleared, I’ll evaluate my options.
This is the kind of post we need more in this forum !

cuz Anathema/Lightbringer is a dead server - I have a low geared toon on Northdale but I have never raided there nor will I since they are shutting down once Classic launches

Doesn’t really matter when you had what you would full bis, with a corrupted Ashbringer and were less then 1% of total dps on some fights.
Not really a contribution at that point, a few extra crits from the top 3-4 over the fight would of been the equivalent of your entire dps output.
