I’m more than old enough to know that that “sticks and stones” saying is complete, self-serving BS.
For every person that got upset over you asking them not to stand in fire, there’s a person with a supposed thick skin out here getting upset because you asked them to not be so aggressive.
Let’s be real here for two seconds. These people do NOT act the same way in real life. If they did, and they talked this way to actual humans, face to face, they would be getting their asses beat on a regular basis. THAT is the difference. They use WOW as their personal power source because they have none in real life.
99% of the people here don’t have the guts to speak in real life the way they do here and that is why it’s so toxic. They use wow to compensate.

But it did bother him enough to talk about it. I do agree that their whole system around that is nowhere near good in the slightest. Hell in Vanilla I watched a GM actually do his job and just saw a dude disappear before my eyes, not teleported, he didn’t log, he got either banned or suspended.
But yes, in order for corrective action to be taken there has to be actual GM’s doing actual GM work. But again, we’re not likely to see that ever happen and that is a shame really.
