it really never recovered IMO. what broke the economy was the combination of the authoritarian response to occupy wall street and the citizen’s united ruling. its been an economy and government only for the rich ever since.
modern day america makes me angry, this country taxes the poor to feed the rich and prosecutes the homeless for being homeless. its not the country i swore an oath to defend.

IMO they are also the most benefitting generation, gaining the most from distribution of wealth systems while every generation younger including genX is having to pay more and get less to pay boomers’ costs and to try to keep the failing system afloat even though it’s unsustainable.
Both of these responses sound like fanfiction to me. Like a lot of players who have never seen or been a part of a premade have built up an idea of the premade “boogeyman” in their heads that doesn’t reflect reality.
The premades that beat the two of you are NOT well coordinated groups of elite R1 PvP chads who stack meta DPS specs, sitting in discord calling their targets, CD’s and CC while they’re being healed by similarly coordinated support teams of God-gamers.
I think most of the complaint posters here would be thoroughly surprised to know how little coordination and teamwork is required to completely stomp non-coordinated teams in EBG’s.
Premades (other than RUIN) are not using “comms” or discord like they’re Special Forces Operators lmao. They’re just using /rw and a few basic chat messages and pings to corral the masses.
All it takes is 1 DPS or Tank to actually push in on an objective to get a team to function properly with a frontline of DPS and a backline of ranged/healers. Pugs with direction and confidence will do that. Pugs that don’t see raid markers, pings or any leadership in chat won’t do that and then it’s a team with a frontline and backline supports vs a team that has no real positioning or control or zoning at all and that’s barely a competition.
All the factors listed as advantages that premades have are also just RNG factors of queuing. 11 healers vs 4 or 1 tank vs none or meta DPS vs non-meta. Those are just RNG and the nature of the game and they’re also RNG factors in premades. I will say though, that healers are generally more numerous in premade groups because healing DPS that play their characters and push for objectives is much more fun than healing DPS that are indistinguishable from bots.

You are never going to convince me that every premade having at least 10 healers if not more every game can be chalked up to “rng” no… its planned.
I was just in a premade vs premade game and our team lost to sheer fire mage/mm hunter on the enemy team. Strategy didn’t help them all that much.
I’ve heard ruin on their own stream syncing and how sweaty they get about it. Archaos almost bursting blood vessels at times.
Again its not a coincedence that every premade is full of fire mage and mm hunter and 12 healers. Most times the entire team just gets bursted down by displacer living bomb by all the mages before any kind of positioning can even take form.
These team fights are over in seconds.

I was just in a WG with 5 healers vs 2 and 3 Horde MM Hunters vs 0 Alliance MM hunters and Horde stomped. Wasn’t a premade. But if I use your logic; every team that beats me with more healers or better DPS must be a premade…

And yes they do and the people who have never touched the class and are only on it cause its overpowered are very easy to distinguish.
Just rerolling to meta in this game where you can go from 1-70 in a matter of hours now. Is the quickest and easiest way to see a drastic uptick in performance without ever actually getting better at the game in any way.
Ofc just rerolling to meta can only get you so far though. but its way farther than you would go if you were the average player on a non meta class.
Also the easiest way to get invites faster cause so many bots will just invite meta by default even if they are a worse player in every regard cause they’ve become so used to it.
I’ve seen fire mages who have clearly never touched the class in honor greens doubling the damage of people who have been on their class for years just spamming nothing but 2 buttons.
Meta rerolling dominates the game just look at the statistics blizzard put out about m+ for the tank specs who got the season title for the tank role. I think it was something like 196 total tanks got it and 178 of them were vengeance dh lmao.

epic community drama provides context and meaning to a game. if the other team is a bunch of nobodies, then that game has no meaning, it doesn’t matter if you win or lose. but if the other team is a rival community you have drama with, then the outcome of that game matters, you need to win or they will get the glory.
Trying to understand why you enjoy hurting and griefing people.
