premades have been part of epics since before they were epics. epics are older than the current gearing model, the idea that epics are for gearing is flat out factually wrong.

I mean the current gearing model is only as old as this expansion cause it was changed from shadowlands to dragonflight cause to many cried about rating requirements to upgrade.

And yes epics are for gearing. It’s pretty clear blizzard never intended for anyone to be taking them seriously which is why there are 0 rewards for doing well in them at all.
