Or I don’t go looking for strange WoW fanart pairings. Or any WoW fanart, for that matter. And I already said three times that I never did this one single quest that they interact in.
Yall don’t need to argue the fact that they had hardly any interaction. I’m not saying that makes it a bad pairing or wrong. It just makes it a very unknown pairing outside of your social circle. No need to be so defensive about it.
Meanwhile they ignore all the pressure they did on LGBT.

Massive fanart and huge support for 2 characters getting together never was “trying too hard to make a connection”
There is a reason Anduin and Wrathion for example have huge amounts of gay art, and even then we ve seen a ton of people try to believe anything but the possibility that they might be gay.
We said the same about shaw and Flynn, and now, it is canon

Again, same thing happens with straight relationships (Thalyssra and Lor’themar) and yet nobody comes out and whines about that and calls it “pandering.” Only when it’s a relationship that makes you uncomfortable do you come out with this argument.

I really hope they put in more LGBT+ relationships. Because it’s important to normalize these relationships and have rep. And because it makes the bigots mad.

Well, they confirmed Flynn goes both ways… maybe Shaw does too? Could still happen with Valeera.
Shaw comes off as a “married to his job” dude. Him talking to Vereesa kind of explores that he doesn’t really know how to address a relationship in a way.
It’s kind of a guilty pleasure of mine to watch bigots get butt hurt

Until people stop raging every time a character is revealed to be lgbt and calling our existence “politics” and pandering, agendas, badly written etc, we would have not reached the post of enough representation.
And based on the reactions, we have a LONG LOOOONG WAY to go.

An aside, that one came out of nowhere but actually works really well.
A relationship doesn’t necessarily need a set amount of buildup to work.
Who is ignoring that pressure? I am 100% on your side. I think that now that LGBTQ+ have a voice in the political conversation, Blizzard is acknowledging them. I am simply saying they should have done it before that. I don’t know why I am being attacked for supporting the community and criticizing Blizzard for not doing more, this is very confusing to me.
Bruh the writer said Flynn was always bi. This was before fans got to see him
