I find it remarkably dumb that reforging the item that created The Scourge has had zero to do with The Scourge. It seems to serve no actual purpose whatsoever except complementing the new Arbiter wardrobe.
They were playing around with it during Shadowlands and they went with it in the finale cinematic. Where he was doing all this evil stuff to prevent some bigger evil from doing evil stuff. Something we have already seen with characters like Illidan, Sargeras and even Nâzoth during BFA.
I honestly donât really consider that misunderstood, especially given that in most cases âdoing evil to stop a bigger evilâ is not explicitly going to work given even what the characters know.
